[GIT PULL] ocfs2 changes for 2.6.37
Linus, et al, Here are the ocfs2 changes for 2.6.37. There are three major additions. Tao Ma has added readahead to our CoW operations. Sunil Mushran has added a global heartbeat mode, allowing one device heartbeat to support multiple ocfs2 mounts. Finally, Patrick J. LoPresti has done the final work to enable ocfs2 mounts on devices larger than 16TB. The ocfs2 disk format has always

[PATCH 1/3] ext3/ext4: Factor out disk addressability check
As part of adding support for OCFS2 to mount huge volumes, we need to check that the sector_t and page cache of the system are capable of addressing the entire volume. An identical check already appears in ext3 and ext4. This patch moves the addressability check into its own function in fs/libfs.c and modifies ext3 and ext4 to invoke it. direct write patch
I have attached a patch that supports a new "--direct-write" option. The result of using this option is to write directly to the destination files, instead of a temporary file first. The reason this patch is needed is for rsyncing to a device where the device is full or nearly full. Say that I am writing to a device that has 1 Meg free, and a 2 meg file on that device is out of date.

[GIT PULL] ocfs2 fixes for 2.6.36.
Linus et al, Here are the ocfs2 fixes we have ready for pulling right now. I have a bit of a procedural question, though. I've been busy, so Tao was kind enough to take the fixes I already had and apply all the new fixes. He coordinated testing them and getting them ready to go upstream. That's why I have his git tree in the pull request below. I wasn't sure how the signoffs work

[PATCH] ocfs2: Update VFS inode's id info after reflink.
In reflink we update the id info in the disk but forget to update the corresponding information in the VFS inode. So update them accordingly in case we want to preserve the attributes. [GIT PULL] ocfs2 updates for 2.6.35
Linus et al, Here are the ocfs2 updates for 2.6.35. There are two major changes. Mark added allocation reservations to our node-local allocators. This gets us much more contiguousness when many processes are growing files in parallel. On the other end of contiguousness, ocfs2 has had a major limitation since the beginning. When ocfs2 needs new inodes, it has always grown its metadata

[PATCH 00/79] fs: new accessors for inode->i_ctime
I've been working on a patchset to change how the inode->i_ctime is accessed in order to give us conditional, high-res timestamps for the ctime and mtime. struct timespec64 has unused bits in it that we can use to implement this. In order to do that however, we need to wrap all accesses of inode->i_ctime to ensure that bits used as flags are appropriately handled. This patchset first

[GIT PULL] Important ocfs2 fixes for 2.6.35
Linus, et al, Here are the major ocfs2 fixes for 2.6.35-rc5. A few more fixes have trickled in, but as these major fixes have been tested, I didn't want to delay them any longer. The first major fix you know about: the tail zeroing fix when extending files. It's been run under heavy testing for a week now, and we're quite happy. We should also no longer be touching any pages past
