60% full and writes fail..
I have a setup with lot's of small files (Maildir), in 4 different
volumes and for some
reason the volumes are full when they reach 60% usage (as reported by
df ).
This was ofcourse a bit of a supprise for me .. lots of failed
writes, bounced messages
and very angry customers.
Has anybody on this list seen this before (not the angry customers ;-) ?

"no space left on device" related to directory limit
Hello,
We have a 3-node cluster setup with ocfs2.
Since friday one of the nodes went down and would not become clustermember after a reboot because it was unable to write to the ocfs2 filesystem. Message: no space left on device.
There is plenty of diskspace though.
No problem whatsoever to create a file / directory on the filesystem using one of the other nodes.

ocfs2 - disk usage inconsistencies
Hi all.
I have a 50 GB OCFS2 file system. I'm currently using ~26GB of space
but df is reporting 43 GB used. Any ideas how to find out where the
missing 17GB is at?
The file system was formatted with a 16K cluster & 4K block size.
Thanks,
Matt

Maximum and minimum OCFS2 volume sizes?
Just a quick question. What is the maximum and minimum volume sizes
that OCFS2 supports?
I'm working on doing a plugin for EVMS to support OCFS2. One of the
functions needs that info.
Thanks,
John

Reproducing fragmentation and out of space error
Recently I ran into a situation where an ocfs2 (1.4) volume was
reporting it was out of space when it was not. Deleting some files
helped short term but the problem quickly comes back.
I believe this is due to the fragmentation bug that I have seen
references to in the mailing list archive. I am trying to reproduce the
problem on a test system so that I can validate that upgrading to 1.6

[PATCH 0/8] Quota support for ocfs2-tools
Hi,
I'm sending a series of patches implementing quota support into ocfs2-tools.
It's the same as the original huge patch I've sent but now it's split as Joel
asked. I've also realized that when disabling SPARSE feature, we should update
quota information. That piece of code is missing, I'll implement it soon.
Comments welcome.

[PATCH 0/6] Ocfs2-tools: Add a new tool 'o2info'.
Now it's a good time to introduce the new tool 'o2info' since kernel
part of OCFS2_IOC_INFO ioctl has been pulld upstream by linus.
The following 6 patches have already got sunil's SOBs, and now they're
trying to attract more reviewers before it goes to central repo with
a modification of getting manual pages being introduced.

ocfs2 + drbd primary/primary "No space left on device"
Hello.
I'm having issues using ocfs2 and drbd in dual primary mode. After running some filesystem test's that create a lot of small files I run really fast into "No space left on device"
The non failing node is able to write/read from the filesystem. And the failing node is also able to delete/read from the filesystem

[PATCH 0/9] Quota support for ocfs2-tools (version 2)
Hi,
this is the next version of quota support for quota tools. I've addressed all
the comments of Tao, Joel and others. Sparse feature disabling also correctly
updates quota information now and the patch is merged into the tunefs support
patch.

[PATCH 0/9] Quota support for ocfs2-tools (version 3)
Hi,
below comes a new version of the series of patches implementing quota support
for ocfs2-tools. I've fixed the calls of ocfs2_malloc_blocks() which were given
number of bytes instead of number of blocks. Besides that the series should be
the same.

Different size with du and ls
Hi all,
I stumbled over a curious thing. The Linux tools "df" and "du" aren't
working correctly on an OCFS2 filesystem. "df" shows approx. twice the
size as there is on the volume.
Here how I found out about this issue:
- same dir(a few files more in OCFS but the files are ca. 12 kB in
size), first on XFS second on the OCFS volume

Hello all,
I'm having trouble compiling ocfs2-tools-1.6.3 on slackware64-13.1

mbox folders
I just upgraded to Fedora Core 2 from Fedora Core 1. Discovered that
UW-IMAP was replaced with Cyrus. Not quite ready to switch to that mail
box format so I instead installed dovecot which comes with Fedora Core
2.
The RPM version is: dovecot-0.99.10.4-4
The problem I am having is that it seems to want to put folders in:
~/mail/mail/
I would like the folders to be in:
~/mail/

servers blocked on ocfs2
Hi,
we have recently started to use ocfs2 on some RHEL 5.5 servers (ocfs2-1.4.7)
Some days ago, two servers sharing an ocfs2 filesystem, and with quite
virtual services, stalled, in what it seems on ocfs2 issue. This are the
lines in their messages files:

CVS to Subversion sync and check-in comments
So is there any possibility of getting it so that the Subversion
repository can get the check-in comments from the internal CVS
repository?
At the moment every log file comment I see in SVN is "Sync". Which
doesn't really let me know what has happenned without having to go lock
at the actual diff between the two versions. And even then I may not
have any idea why the change was
