'Transport endpoint not connected'
This should be a pretty easy issue to reproduce, at least it seems to happen to me very often. (gluster-3.2.5) After storage backend(s) have been rebooted, the client mounts are often broken until you unmount and remount. Example from this morning: I had rebooted storage servers to upgrade them to ubuntu 12.04. Now at the client side: $ ls /gluster/scratch ls: cannot access /gluster/scratch:

Transport Endpoint Not connected while running sysbench on Gluster Volume
I'm having a hard time trying to get a gluster volume up and running. I have setup other gluster volumes on other systems without much problems but this one is killing me. The gluster vol was created with the command: gluster volume create mariadb_gluster_volume laeft-dccdb01p:/export/mariadb/brick I had to lower frame-timeout since the system would become unresponsive until the frame failed

1.2.2 : transport endpoint is not connected.
Hi, Thank you for the great OpenSSH package. I obtained 1.2.2 and tried it on linux 2.2.14. I had reported earlier that I saw "Transport endpoint is not connected" warning messages were observed on the linux 2.2.14 kernel with earlier release of openssh. The same happens when I used the port-forwarded HTTP connection. But this time, after accessing such http connections, I noticed

Transport endpoint is not connected
Hello, I tried to google this, but haven't found anything really helpful so far. I get stuff like this at one Samba-3.0.9-Domain-Member-Server: > [2005/03/06 13:30:47, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(647) > fre2003 (192.168.86.11) connect to service users initially as user fre (uid=1006, gid=1000) (pid 31447) > [2005/03/06 13:31:57, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(835) >

Transport endpoint is not connected
Hi, I want to share a partition of an external disk between 3 machines. It is located on a Sun StoreTek 3510 and bound (via multipathing) to all 3 machines. One machine (say mach1) is the node I used to create the filesystem and setup /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf. I copied the file to the other 2 machines. All use the same /etc/multipath.conf[1], too. All start /etc/init.d/ocfs2 at boot, all are

Good Afternoon, I have Samba 2.2.1a running on a SPARC Solaris 2.7. All of a sudden I'm having a problem with one PC mapping Samba drives. Why am i getting "Transport endpoint is not connected"
Hi, I got no replies to my last post "win 7 client can't map drive: getpeername failed" Anyway I've dug a little deeper on the server side by setting log level 10 and found the error: "Transport endpoint is not connected" Basically I compared the logs (several thousand lines!) from two windows 7 clients, one of which always works (the good client) and one which

sshd "getpeername failed: Transport endpoint is not connected" error
Thanks for suggestion. That was, indeed, a problem on our network. Sorry for bothering you. BTW, "-r" option is not included in a man page, it doesn't seem to have any effect as well. 2015-12-11 5:47 GMT+03:00 Darren Tucker <dtucker at zip.com.au>: > On Wed, Dec 9, 2015 at 7:43 PM, Andrey Klimentev <andrei650816 at gmail.com> wrote: >> Hello, everybody.

Instead, the /var/samba/log/log.smbd is showing the following errros: ???? getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected ??? Denied connection from 0.0.0.0 (0.0.0.0) ??? Transport endpoint not connected
Well, I WAS puzzled by this persistent error. Then I stumbled onto something and I might have fixed it. It looks like with an XP client, XP might be trying to renegotiate which port to talk (445 or 139) over at the start of every transaction. Whichever one answers first is used for the rest of the transfer. I added this to smb.conf and restarted samba: smb ports = 139 I can't tell if
