no dentry for non-root inode
hi!
One of our user removed a directory through samba and right after that
recreated it.
It looks like this now:
?????????? ? ? ? ? ? 20110817
Gluster version is 3.2.2-1ubuntu~ppa1~lucid1 on client (samba server)
and the same but Natty on the nodes. It was upgraded from 3.2.1.
What is this? If a client try to access it, it freezes up.

Failed rebalance - lost files, inaccessible files, permission issues
I'm starting a new thread on this, because I have more concrete
information than I did the first time around. The full rebalance log
from the machine where I started the rebalance can be found at the
following link. It is slightly redacted - one search/replace was made
to replace an identifying word with REDACTED.

Directory metadata inconsistencies and missing output ("mismatched layout" and "no dentry for inode" error)
Hi I'm running into a rather strange and frustrating bug and wondering if
anyone on the mailing list might have some insight about what might be
causing it. I'm running a cluster of two dozen nodes, where the processing
nodes are also the gluster bricks (using the SLURM resource manager). Each
node has the glusters mounted natively (not NFS). All nodes are using
v3.2.7. Each job in the

[LLVMdev] win32 broken again
Hi Jeff,
Typically, I've found out that these missing functions are placed beneath
lib/System/Unix in some of *.cpp files. These function can be copied to
their respectively lib/System/Win32 *.cpp files.
Henrik.

Well... that didn't take long. I'm not sure what you did, Reid, with
Path.cpp, but it broke VC++:

Panic: Leaked view for index - virtual mailbox
Hi There!
I run into this problem with virtual Mailboxes on release-2.3.2 (and
also in master and in older versions of dovecot)
I added the core-file.

So the core file is not very useful...
can you, instead, attach your doveconf -n and your virtual folder configurations and also
gdb /usr/lib/dovecot/imap /path/to/core
bt full

Aw: Re: Panic: Leaked view for index - virtual mailbox
I am pretty sure Synoptic/INBOX/Archives will not be same as INBOX/Archives.
a SELECT Synoptic/INBOX/Archives
a NO Mailbox doesn't exist: Synoptic/INBOX/Archives (0.001 + 0.000 secs).
a SELECT INBOX/Archives
* FLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft)
* OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft \*)]
Flags permitted.
* 45 EXISTS
So as you can see, specifying

Panic: Leaked view for index - virtual mailbox
Hi!
Was looking at your config and I am puzzled why you are adding
? mailbox INBOX/Archives {
??? auto = no
??? special_use = \Archive
? }
under namespace 'Synoptic'? Do you actually have a virtual folder config
for all those folders? You can't just "move" folders into a namespace by
declaring them there, those become Synoptic/INBOX/Archives, and require
a dovecot-virtual
