It's available from the usual ftp sites, in the alpha directory as : <ftp mirror>:/pub/samba/alpha/samba-2.2.0-alpha3.tar.gz If people could test this snapshot out and provide feedback about what is broken and let the lists know that would help. Spoolsv also crashes on the Win2K workstations requiring a manual restart of the spooler service. We will downgrade to 2.2.5 and try Jerry's patch. In another message Jerry talks about "running"

I am attaching the logs with log level 10. *Workaround:- *I have implemented workaround by adding all the test users(force_user, smbget_user,user1,user2.......) from useradd command. Is it an expected behavior on hpux ? Note:- I am not sure if this issue to be send to samba-technical mail list.

And the pc's affected are not the same each time. this might be the case if what is REALLY going on is that the pc's that are STILL working never lost their connection to SAMBA/iX, so they already(still) have a working

samba-2.2.8pre2-1, rpcclient segfault and other problems
I've been having a few problems with samba-2.2.8pre2-1 --with-winbind --with-winbind-challenge-response Rh 7.2, 2.4.9-38 on s/390, glibc-2.2.4-31 rpcclient segfaults on enumdrivers 3... I hadn't tried it with earlier versions of samba, but the man pages indicate enumdrivers 1, 2, and 3 are supported. If you'd like to see a -d 10 or -d 100, or the /var/log/messages dump, just let me
