Rails 3.0.6 ETA?
Hello, Is there some Rails 3.0.6 ETA? I am asking because there are some security holes in Rails 3.0.3, which are currently available in Fedora 15. So is it right time to update Rails to 3.0.5 or is it worth of waiting for 3.0.6? Vit -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Core" group. DOS error 58 is back
Hi all, yesterday i switched from Samba 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 RC2 because we want to upgrade our Windows XP clients to SP2 which seems to cause printing problems with all older versions of Samba. Unfortunately this reintroduced a problem regarding DOS ( please see http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2004-July/089609.html ) which i already had experienced when i switched from Samba 3.0.4 to

MS-DOS, WinXP SP2 with 3.05 and 3.0.6rc2
Hello! I use Windows XP SP2 on my clients. I use the http://unattended.sf.net to automatically install my WinXP machines from a MS-DOS client. This works fine in samba-3.0.5 but since SP2 causes a problem with printers I upgraded to samba-3.0.6rc2. RC2 in turn doesn't work with MS-DOS clients. The symptom is that I can boot from the fileserver but when I try to invoke a program I get

3.0.5pre1 -> 3.0.5rc1 breaks winbindd group lookup with spaces
When upgrading our test system from 3.0.5pre1 to 3.0.5rc1 with identical configurations we found that one share using a group name with an embedded space was no longer accessible after the upgrade. Samba vs NtBackup Round 3.0.5
Hi all, I experienced the same problem with 3.0.4 that Jeremy and Bruno were discussing - NTBackup unable being to connect to shares and erroring out with 'Access Denied'. I have today upgraded to 3.0.5 (using the Debian Woody packages) and that didn't fix the problem. Was the fix in 3.0.5r1 only applicable to 2000/2003 server? I am stuck in the dark ages of NT 4 here, maybe that is a

Problem with 3.0.5 rc1
Hi All, I have been having problems with the known issue on 3.0.4 with NTBackup and a DFS related issue. Therefore I decided to give 3.0.5rc1 a go, as SuSE have released the rpms on their website. Once I installed the rpms, I found that all daemons started correctly, but all domain authentication failed (I am running a samba server as a member server against a Windows 2000 mixed mode domain).

Upgrade question
Hi: I want to upgrade a Fedora Core 1 Linux machine that is running Samba 3.0.2a to 3.0.5. Initially, I compiled the 3.0.2a source, with defaults, and installed. The installation resides in /usr/local/samba. Can I download the 3.0.5 source, compile and install without breaking anything? Will the configuration be broken? Does anyone know a way to do this cleanly? Anyone's help is
