Bug in cac_Connect ?
While working on adding support for local-binding, I found this piece of code in libmsrpc.c. Maybe I'm confused..but should that strcmp maybe be compared to != 0? /*change the server name in the server handle if necessary*/ if(srv && hnd->server && strcmp(hnd->server, srv) == 0) { SAFE_FREE(hnd->server); hnd->server = SMB_STRDUP(srv); }

smbd problem with inotify
A few months ago we bought a GIS software. It is running under Windows XP Pro. This software has stored its databases in dbf files, located on one samba share. Executables reside on each WinXP Pro client. The software simply uses dbf databases located on samba share. Each session of the gis opens about 500 files. I have four workstations that are allowed to run this software. [kirchner]

Problem with AD
Hi All, New to the list here. I am trying to connect my samba box to an Windows Server 2003 box (yuck). My users want to be able to access shares on the samba box with the same credentials they used to login into the windows domain. Am I correct in thinking this is possible?
