Mapped Network Drive Error
Hi,
I'm getting the following error:
"The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error
has occured - there are currently no logon servers available to service

Any ideas?

Swat access question
Hi All,
I'm a new user to Samba and I'm just having trouble with one or two
things. I've been able to sort most of them out myself but I was wondering
how can you get full access to Swat. Obviously the root user gets all the
access requiremnts but my own unix user only gets the Samba Documentation
screen within Swat. I have tried adding my user id into admin users but

Samba Mapped Shares Question
Hi All,
I have two HP-UX servers - one called Prod11 running HP11.11 with Samba
3.0.7 and the other called Zarwin running HP11.00 with Samba 2.0.6. My
username is a16609.
On Prod11 when connecting it comes back as "Prod11\a16609" and I can
successfully get onto the share. However when connecting on Zarwin it
comes back as "UK\a16609" and the connection fails unless I

fxruby and framecontrole
I am new to (FX)ruby and am wrestling with the following question.
In my application I have a three frame split by two splitters.
One frame on the left side with a treelist and two frames above each
other on the right side.
The editable content of the right top frame depends on the item clicked
in the treelist.
The editable content of the right bottom frame depends on data enter in

Problem with SIP-Phones and * audio-files
Hi All,
I am a newbie to asterisk, and here is my first problem, where I do not
know any further.
I have to grandstream BT100 connected to asterisk. Working fine, for
calling to each other, and to call via a IAX-Link to the outside.
If I try to call the initial demo from the samples.extensions.conf I
have nothing to hear.
The CLI fine reports:

First impressions of iRiver iHP120
Battery life sucks.
This may be due to three factors:
1. It was the first charge that the machine had
2. Playing Vorbis takes more battery power than MP3
3. The battery is a bit rubbish
More considered opinions to follow.

FX ruby program error EOF
Since a week or so I am getting this error in a program which has been
running fine for 6 months or so.
I have a hard time running debug on this error and finding the cause. As
it seems that the error is in the middle of fxruby and not in my
application.
I click on button1 - the first time every works perfect. Handling the
next record, pressing button1 leads to this error.

Hello, thanks, and how do I...
First of all, congratulations on the success of the Ogg Vorbis format - I am
now the proud owner of an Ogg player (iRiver iHP120).
Any starting advice for a newbie Ogger would be appreciated! I have ripped
about 16 albums with Audiograbber, Ogged them, and loaded them onto the
player. The first problem I found was that Exact Audio Copy was reading
silence, so I junked that. The second is that one

FXTabBook / FXTabItem / FXTabBar
Lyle and Henon; thanks for helping out with ''clearing'' the frames. It''s
working.
I end up using;
parent.removeChild(righttopframe)
righttopframe = nil
Am afraid I stumbled on another question.
I managed to put my application in a tabbook. I am looking to catch the
event ''click on tabitem''.
I tried SEL_COMMAND on TabItem but that seems not to work.

CD ripper software
I've been having problems with Audiograbber, it got the track breaks all
wrong on a couple of CDs. I think it re-used the track breaks from the first
CD when reading subsequent CDs.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good CD ripper? I've also tried
Exact Audio Copy, but didn't get on with it very well.

Problem with creating machine account for domain logon
Hi,
If i try to let my laptop logon to my samba domain i see in the logfiles
that there must me a machine account in the /etc/passwd file.
So i created manualy "useradd <machine>$"
This works fine and i'm able to log on to the domain.
Why doesn't create samba this machine account automaticly?? do u need a
special option for that??

Adding points sequentially to multiple graphs in one window (device)
Dear R-help list:
I have want seems to be a simple task, but can't find a solution.
I tried querying the archives, but did not succeed.
My goal is to set up two (or more) graphs in one graph window, and
then during execution of a sequential algorithm add points
sequentially to these graphs. The graphs have different scales
/ coordinates. I use the par(mfg...) command to

compairing doubles
Agreed that's it's rounding error, and all.equal would be the way to go.
I wouldn't call it a bug, it's simply part of working with floating point numbers, any language has the same issue.
And while we're at it, I think the function can be a lot shorter:
.is_continous_evenly_spaced <- function(n){
length(n)>1 && isTRUE(all.equal(n[order(n)], seq(from=min(n),
