Paging with Polycom 3.3.x
Hi, My phones stopped auto-answering when being paged, since I moved on to Polycom firmware 3.3.0 (3.3.1 is the same, I tried). That is with Asterisk 1.6.2.16. I looked at the wiki but nothing I try there works, even if I cut and paste the same setup. Any one has any idea of what I should change from my old 3.2.3 setup? My older phone (501) still using 3.1.6 still auto-answer

Can't modify ms word files with samba 3.3
Hello, I tried this week to upgrade my samba 3.2.4 (2 PDCs one trusting the other) to samba 3.3.0 then samba 3.3.1, and apart from the problem with winbindd and trusted domain, my users are not able to modify any ms word document (excel does the same). You can open the file correctly, modify it, and when saving it, it pops up "Access denied" If you try to save the file in the same

HVM Live Migration Troubles - Xen 3.3.1
I''m having issues with HVM live migration and every xen version I''ve tried - 3.0.1, 3.1.x, 3.3.0 and 3.3.1. read.table(..., header == FALSE, colClasses = <vector with names attribute>)
Hello I noticed that starting with R version 3.3.0 onward, this generates a warning: ?? > txt <- c("a", "3.14") ?? > read.table(file = textConnection(txt), header = FALSE, colClasses = c(x = "character", y = "numeric")) the warning is "not all columns named in 'colClasses' exist" and I guess the change was made in response

Error: memory exhausted (limit reached?)
Hi, I first posted this message on r-help, but got redirected here. I encounter a strange memory error, and I'd like some help to determine if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a bug in recent R versions... I'm currently working on a DeepNet project @home, with an old PC with 4Gb RAM, running Ubuntu 16.04. For efficiency reason, I preprocessed my dataset and stored it as

You are constructing the equivalent of a two-line data file, and complaining that it is not treating it like it was one line. If it did used to accept this silently [skeptical] then I for one am glad it produces a warning now. -- Sent from my phone. Please excuse my brevity. hotplug vcpu problem to Centos 5.2 DomU
My dom0 is uing Centos 5.2 x64. I have just upgraded Xen from 3.3.0 to 3.3.1. After upgraded, I find that I cannot hotplug additional vcpu anymore. I have a domU "linux1" which is a paravirtualized vm with centos 5.2. I try to "xm vcpu-set linux1 4", it does not have any error message, but those vcpu cannot be displayed. I also tried to add vcpu using "virsh setvcpus

read.table(..., header == FALSE, colClasses = <vector with names attribute>)
Jeff, Thank you for your reply. The intent was to construct a minimum reproducible example. The same warning occurs when the 'file' argument points to a file on disk with a million lines. But you are correct, my example was slightly malformed and in fact gives an error under R version 3.2.2. Please allow me to try again; in older versions of R, ?? > read.table(file =

Gluster Self Heal
Hi, I have a 2-node gluster with 3 TB storage. 1) I believe the "glusterfsd" is responsible for the self healing between the 2 nodes. 2) Due to some network error, the replication stopped for some reason but the application was accessing the data from node1. When I manually try to start "glusterfsd" service, its not starting. Please advice on how I can maintain

rgeos on Linux requires GEOS 3.2.3, not 3.3.1
Some notes on installing rgeos in R 2.14.0 on a Linux Mint 11 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu) machine 1. rgeos 0.1-15 will not run with GEOS 3.2.0-1, which is the version currently available on Synaptic package manager 2. I installed GEOS 3.3.1 (the latest version) from http://trac.osgeo.org/geos/, but rgeos will not run with this either 3. I then install GEOS 3.2.3, and now rgeos works fine! It seems

Compiling R-3.3.0 and/or R-3.3.1 with custom location for dependencies like zlib
Greetings. Sorry I am a bit new to this list. I am trying to compile R-3.3.0 and/or R-3.3.1 on computational cluster running Centos 6.6 I have custom installation of zlib 1.2.8 , but it's not in default /lib /usr/lib /usr/include location and configure script keeps failing when looking for it. It doesn't seem to care if correct zlib.h is in path and always seems to find one in /usr/include

problem clearing the "Read Only" attribute from Windows XP
I am trying to configure a share using Samba version 2.2.7a, and have not been able to clear the "Read Only" attribute of created folders from within XP. In smb.conf, I have: read only = no, and am mapping the archive, system and hidden attributes to the Linux x bits. I have set the permissions for all users to allow changing attributes and permissions, yet the bit always returns

ms office and 3.3.1
I upgraded from 3.2.7 to 3.3.1 and am having the most peculiar problem with Microsoft Office 2007 and samba shares. Users can open a share, create, edit and delete files/folders with no problem. But when a user opens a file on a samba share in any Office application, for example Word, and clicks 'Save' then a dialog box opens: "Access denied. Contact your administrator". This
