New snapshot
I have just uploaded a new snapshot to: http://www.mindrot.org/misc/openssh/openssh-SNAP-20001114.tar.gz This snapshot includes Markus Friedl's new SSH2 RSA authentication work and -R portforwarding for SSH2. Please give these a good test. The new RSA authentications works similar to the current SSH2 DSA keys, but requires a little modification to config files. Currently RSA key cannot be

Last call for Syslinux 3.70
Hi all, I have just released syslinux-3.70-pre25. Unless someone has something big and scary that either I have managed to miss or was just stumbled over, I'm going to release 3.70 final some time between tomorrow and Monday. Thus, *please holler now* if there are any stop-ship problems still known... -hpa

Pseudo-random numbers between two numbers
I would like to generate pseudo-random numbers between two numbers using R, up to a given distribution, for instance, rnorm. That is something like rnorm(HowMany,Min,Max,mean,sd) over rnorm(HowMany, mean,sd). I am wondering if dnorm(runif(HowMany, Min, Max), mean, sd) is good. Any idea? Thanks. -james

sftp
Yo All! I understand why we do not have sftp in openssh, but it would be nice if we could make it so that when an SSH.COM scp2 client makes a connection to an OpenSSH V2 daemon that it does not hang.... Any ideas or do I need to dig a bit on this? Here is what the sshd says when I conenct to it from scp2: debug: session_open: session 0: link with channel 0 debug: confirm session debug:

Report on openssh-1.2.1pre26.tar.gz
Dear developers, I tried to make openssh-1.2.1pre26 on my Linux box with kernel 2.2.13 and libc 5.4.46. First I needed to modify the file "fake-getaddrinfo.h" as attached diff. Then I tried again, and gave up with the error: gcc -g -O2 -Wall -I/usr/local/ssl/include \ -DETCDIR=\"/usr/local/openssh/etc\" \ -DSSH_PROGRAM=\"/usr/local/openssh/bin/ssh\" \

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: Fix regression by audio component transition
Since the commit 742db30c4ee6 ("drm/nouveau: Add HD-audio component notifier support"), the nouveau driver notifies and pokes the HD-audio HPD and ELD via audio component, but this seems broken. The culprit is the naive assumption that crtc->index corresponds to the HDA pin. Actually this rather corresponds to the MST dev_id (alias "pipe" in the audio component framework)

Finding all possible partitions of N units into k classes
Dear useRs! I would like to generate a list of all possible (unique) partitions of N units into k classes. For example, all possible partitions of 4 units into 2 classes are (I hope I have not missed anyone): 1,1,1,2 (this can be read as {1,2,3},{4}) 1,1,2,1 1,2,1,1 2,1,1,1 1,1,2,2 1,2,1,2 1,2,2,1 The partitions 1,1,2,2 and 2,2,1,1 are the same and are therefore not two unique

Dear all, I have a problem with a loop, if anyone has any knowledge on these things I would appreciate some comments. The code below is designed to allow me to extract the top record of the data frame, and them remove rows from the data frame which have an index close to the extracted top record. topstorm<-subset(rankeddataset[1,]) ## Extracts the top storm
