samba-tool dsacl set fails with "Unknown flag"
Hi,
i was not able to find anything about my issue in the bug-tracker,
the mailinglist or the release notes. We see the following issue
using samba-tool dsacl:
samba-tool dsacl set --objectdn "cn=srv-client-99,cn=CoreBizClients,cn=Netzwerk,ou=muc,DC=coreboso,DC=de" --sddl='(A;CI;GA;;;DD)'

Printer settings not saved
Hi,
I have problems to save printer settings like changing the
size from letter to A4. This happens for user settings
and default printer settings. The settings are always
resetted to default values like "letter".
The system uses samba 3.4.11, I also did some tests with
samba 3.5.8, but nothing changed.
After downgrading to 3.3.2 everything worked as expected.
I didn't change any

Weird problems with OpenOffice
Hi:
1. Samba PDC and OpenOffice:
I've an strange problem with OpenOffice (2.3 and 2.4) and Samba as PDC (Debian
version 3.0.24-6etch10): I have a Windows XP Professional (SP3) connected to
a Samba PDC. When I click on a document located in my desktop, OO seems to
freeze for more than one minute, and then it loads the document. If I try to
load more documents, they load normally.
But,

%U/%u expansions in Mixed Active Directory (2000/XP/2003 Server) and NT4 environment with samba 3.0.0 and winbind
Hi all,
I have had the unfortunate joy of upgrading my PDC to Windows Server 2003
and active directory, I also upgraded to samba 3.0.0 on a debian testing
box. Before I was running a happy little environment with Windows NT4 and
Samba 2.2.8 with winbind using the "winbind use default domain = yes".
Migration went smooth, switch to security = ADS and joined the directory.
Everything was

Hello Tim, Jean-Marc
Thanks for the clarification. Let me study the sample OPUS file and see if
my understanding is now clarified.

Listeners in SIP conferences
Hello list readers,
I've been trying out * for a week, setting up three SIP softphones with
SJPhone, calling from each other, conferencing, and it seems to be what
I was looking for, but I have yet one more question that I haven't been
able to find out by myself, is it possible to create conferences in
Asterisk with a (some) listener(s), that is, people who can only listen

Hello,
I have found that the timeout 't' takes to much time to be executed,
around 10 seconds.
Is there a place to configure this timeout ?
thanks

As a long-time fan of Magnatune and what you're trying to do, this is
pretty awesome.

The file you are looking at is an Ogg *Vorbis* file. It's not Opus at all.
The file at

Speed up and limit memory usage of lm()
Hi all
I have been doing series of linear regression models lm(). In this case the execution time and memory usage becomes a huge issue. I have therefore been trying to speed the process and limit the memory usage.
Here follows part of the code do give better understanding of what I am doing:
modela <- lm(RSSYS10 ~ RS_AGE + RS_AGESQ + SEX + RS_BMI)

Ogg Format
Hello Tim, Jean-Marc
Thanks for the inputs and the corrections. I think I understand the Ogg
Opus better now and it all makes sense. There are two questions that I am
left to ask.
1. Since the stream I am working with is a mono channel, what should be the
advised page_segments to use. I am using an embedded system so keeping the
flash and SRAM usage are vital for the development.
2. In the

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but a couple of bits of new information has come to light here that may be useful for others.

Party package: varimp(..., conditional=TRUE) error: term 1 would require 9e+12 columns
I would like to build a forest of regression trees to see how well some
covariates predict a response variable and to examine the importance of the
covariates. I have a small number of covariates (8) and large number of
records (27368). The response and all of the covariates are continuous
variables.
A cursory examination of the covariates does not suggest they are correlated

flac has an --ogg switch
