Loading GNOME with GDM
Hi, We have a few PC with CentOS 4 installed. By default, it runs to runlevel 5, which displays the GDM. I'm just wondering, how do I actually make the GDM to start GNOME automatically (after a successful login) for all normal user account without having to add 'exec gnome-session' in every user's ~/.xinitrc? The current scenario is, only successful 'root' logins starts

Storage/SCSI Error on our CentOS server
Hi, Currently we are running CentOS 4.x on a 2-way Opteron machine. This machine, through a SCSI host adapter (Adaptec), is connected to a 2TB storage unit (an external RAID-5 disk array) Until our recent unintentional power trip, everything was fine and smooth. CentOS 5.2 - GFS and glock_purge tunable
The documentation for 5.2 indicates the glock_purge tunable parameter is present for GFS in its example output from `gfs_tool gettune`. However, I just upgraded a 5.1 system to 5.2 and everything looks good except for the mysterious absence of the glock_purge parameter. Any ideas as to why this tunable which I was looking forward to getting is missing? - James Thompson

I have managed to get all issues sorted out as I go along, until this one that randomly began last week. We are using Grandstream GXP 2000 Handsets in the office, and at TE110P card to interface to our ISDN OnRamp10

SCSI, SAS and FC Controller
Greetings, Currently, we have several Direct Attached Storage (DAS) units, connected to respective servers through Adaptec SCSI Controller. 1) Most of the time we used 80Mbit/s for external SCSI devices (in this case, the DAS itself). Is it true the maximum speed for external SCSI devices would be up to 80Mbit/s? Tried to change to 320Mbit/s but somehow the kernel crashed. Is there any specific

thankyou both very much for your swift responses and helpful insight... While my knowledge of administrating Asterisk is fairly decent, i must say my knowledgebase and ability in troubleshooting it is fairly lousy... all these wonderful suggestions you have had about turning this log on here, etc sounds great, but i don't know where to begin on that! how do you recommend i turn these on or
