Afternoon, Are there any documented best practices for using NFS home directories on laptops? Right now, and this is on CentOS 7, when I disconnect the machine from the network, the desktop freezes, and I can't even tell if the machine switches to the wireless network. If this sort of adapter switching, which is standard in e.g. Windows 10, is even supported. Thanks for any insights.

Hi all, I'm currently searching for a PCI modem that will be used to receive faxes. I've tried out a few modems but they all use conexant chipsets, which need out-of-tree kernel drivers and currently doesn't work here (kernel oops when the installation script modprobes the driver). The bootdisk.img gets things started just fine, but the closest driver on the drvblock.img disk is for the Symbios 53C896, and the Omnibook has a 53C810.
