HI i have currently started to deploy code into our production environment from the the dev environment, we deploy code on to the production from the svn , ( i do a svn export ) , some times not code is checked into the svn and it does not throw me a error . is there a way i can verify or write a script to check each file that is in the SVN is same as that in the dev environment . --

I'm trying to install CentOS 4 on an A8V on the PATA/Raid drives on the Promise controller. The Promise controller is recognized (sata_promise), but the PATA drives are not recognized. Base on this thread https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=147303 it seems that there is a patch which was merged in 2.6.11 to get pata working. Any ideas how to proceed? We currently have a MD3000i with an iSCSI LUN shared out to our apache web server. We are going to add another apache web server into the mix using LVS to load balance, however, I am curious how well iSCSI handles file locking and data integrity. I have the iSCSI partition formatted as ext3. Is my setup totally flawed and will ext3 not allow for data integrity with multiple apache hosts

I am in the process of bring up Centos 5.5. My ftp server is vsftp. When I add a user (e.g. brian), the "brian" directory is owned by "brian" and is in the "brian" group with 700 permissions. However, using a FTP client, the user "brian" can view all of the directories. I do not see any directive in vsftpd.conf to limit this. What have I missed?

I am running Dovecot 1.0.10 and have it working great on ender.ath.cx (my free DynDNS.com subdomain), but recently I registered lemcoe.com and pointed it to the same IP address as ender.ath.cx. The problem is, only e-mail sent to the @ender.ath.cx works. If it is send it to @lemcoe.com, I don't know where it goes. I get no errors either. How can I get Dovecot to recognize both domains?
