Trying to run EVE Online through wine on my Asus EEEPC with a special flavor of Ubuntu called Easy Peasy built for netbooks. I run the app after doing all the necessary installation procedures and once the game goes full screen, I get sound just fine but the screen goes black and eventually freezes the computer entirely. I am running wine 1.10 with the latest nVidia drivers, the 180 series. Now, everytime I shoot at the glass, or somebody breaks it, hl2 crashes without any unusual output. Just all it does is exit. Hi all, I've got a strange problem with wine and eve-online. Eve loads up, lets me login and choose character, but freezes 10-15 seconds after that, pegging the cpu at 99% until I kill the process.
