Anyone using AJAX, SVG, and Rails?
I''m interested in the idea of using AJAX and SVG to create a
simple diagram editor. It seems like Rails might be able to
support this sort of thing, so I thought I''d ask if anyone is
doing anything in this direction.

Zaptel timer on Intel Dual Core servers
Friends,
I'm having severe problems with zaptel timers on Intel Dual Core
systems with SMP code enabled. Ztdummy, zaptel connected to Digium TDM
or PRI cards - all ends up with large timer probems - zttest going
down to 50% accuracy on some systems, even to -1 on ztdummy systems
and voice quality is no more. A restart is the only way to get back
to a working system.
We're only

Profiles
I have a few weird problems with profiles on my samba PDC. Right now I'm
just testing with two XP pro clients. Samba is
Samba version 3.0.2a-Debian
The problems that I'm having and I believe are related are:
1.) Profiles are saved to the server, but don't migrate to different
clients. This is very odd, I can make all sorts of changes to the profile
and I can see those changes

The undef story

Mehdi points out I mis-quoted you, I apologize sincerely.
Mehdi,
Thank you for forcing me to go back and re-read what Hal wrote,
I could have sworn Hal and I were in agreement at the time I wrote you,

Sound with Wine
Hello NG,
I am using Wine 20011108 (Debian Woody) and the most important programs are
running fine with it. I configured Wine with the winesetup-tool.
In general sound is running (e.g. with Winamp). And of course, sound runs
with Linux (KDE). But some programs seems to have some probems. I am
running a birthday reminder, which gives an notification sound in case of a
birthday. But this does

If you encounter network related SElinux errors, especially when using KLIPS,
try disabling SElinux

Well, it is not running KLIPS but netkey, anyways
I feel not comfortable about disabling selinux on a ipsec router.
I am not sure how to handle possible probems in this case, too.
If I decide not to disable selinux, and I run into problems, should I

OpenLDAP to FDS 7.1
I am intending to test FDS 7.1 for our LDAP database. We have a custom
schema currently set up with OpenLDAP. I am looking for a script ton
convert those schema files to the FDS LDIF format. I could have sworn
someone posted a link in the previous LDAP thread, but I can't find it now.
If anyone has that script, I would appreciate a pointer.
Thanks,

I could have sworn I saw a post about this recently but I can't find it
so apologies if this is a dupe, but is there anyway to control the order
in the Polycom Buddies list?

xtable() with booktabs option problem
I could have sworn that yesterday xtable(file, booktabs = TRUE) was giving me toprule , midrule and bottomrule outout. Today :
library(xtable)
aa <- table( sample(letters[1:9], 100, replace = TRUE))
xtable(aa,
booktabs = TRUE)
gives me

Disable SILK/CELT only?
Is there a configuration or compile flag that lets me disable the SILK
portion of the codec and use CELT only?
I could have sworn that there is something, but I can't seem to find it
in the mailing list archives.
The application here is that I am attempting to update from the old CELT
codec to OPUS. Unfortunately, the CELT codec was running *very* close
to the CPU (MIPS32--80MHz) limit

Reload in 1.4 clears regexten
Ok, I could have sworn this was fixed in Asterisk 1.2, but it seems in
Asterisk 1.4.4, that doing a reload, or even an 'extensions reload' will
clear any extensions that have been created by regexten. This is VERY
bad!

That's news to me! If so, then the internal DNS backed is not suitable for
multiple DC's. (Though, I could've sworn it worked on versions 4.2+ <
4.7. It's on my to-do list to explore this further with different
versions.)

You're right. I forgot to cvs add them. They are now in the
repository.

Paul Saunders would like it if you can find it for his website, as well
as a download link for Helix for RealOne. I haven't tried that yet.
Hopefully it's a
