Re: DVD-"this projector file is corrupt! Unable to cont
I have the same issue here and using a nativ msvcrt.dll file doesn't. What's really wierd is that I run this App on an other pc under the same Ubuntu version with the same Wine version and got no problem. Everything went fine and the app runs great. The only difference is the graphic gard. On the one which works, it's a Nvidia 7300 Go and on the other it's an ATI Radeon Xpress

Video projector vs. onboard video card
Hi, I have a CentOS 7 desktop client installed on an old Dell Optiplex computer with an Intel video card integrated into the motherboard. The card has a single VGA connector, and the 19" monitor is connected to it. I wonder how I could connect a video projector to this computer while keeping the monitor, in a mirroring configuration, e. g. output is the same on the video projector and the

XORG and LCD Projector
dear guys, I have a problem between my CentOS 5.5 (on Axioo notebook) and LCD Projector. When I connect my notebook to LCD Projector, it can detect my notebook. But when I press Fn + F7 to activate dual monitor between my notebook and LCD Projector it goes to blank screen. FYI, the LCD Projector is NEC but I don't know the series. I've tried to change display using dual head monitor but

File structure is here : PlayerEXE SWF FA123456 (int32) SWFSize (int32) One thing, a line in the code shouldn't be 64safe (use of sizeof(int)) Bye St?phane Loeuillet -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... [OT] What file can I use to change Ubuntu 9.10 display characteristics?
This question is vaguely related to R in that I have managed to wedge the netbook computer that I use for demonstrations of R and I would like to know how to un-wedge it so I can continue to give lectures about R. I have an ASUS eee PC running the netbook-remix version of Ubuntu 9.10. The X server in 9.10 is a little different from earlier versions in that it does not require an explicit

comments on documentation
I've been experimenting with R during the last week and I thought I'd pass on some comments on issues on the documentation that left me a bit confused. To start with (literally), the ReadMe.rw1021 file says that the easiest way to install R is to download the rwinst.exe installer program. That gave me the impression that the program would connect to an R download site, download the

Adobe Director projectors
Hi there I'm a complete newbie regarding Linux, but we've got a potential sale of our software to a large number of Linux computers and I'm trying to find out how feasible it is, and I'm hoping this is the place to find out! Our software is made using Adobe Director, and we distribute it either through a browser using Shockwave, or as a standalone executable (Projector). I'm

Anyone have any experience with Epson EasyMP projectors?
The folks at my office have acquired a new Epson EasyMP wireless projector, which requires a windows/MacOS plugin to use. Of course, they don't provide one for Linux. Here's their web page on it: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Overview&oid=35942&prodoid=36528570 Do any of you folks out there know of any way to use Linux

locator(n=0)
locator(n=1) returns the coordinates of the position of the mouse. But you have to click the left button of the mouse. How can I determine the mouse position without any click? Is it possible to extend locator in a way that locator(n=0) outputs the coordinates at once, without any click event? TclTk allows us to define very nice animations and demonstrations, see for example: demo(tkdensity).

interactive visualizations - anyone use SVGAnnotation?
Hi all:I found some great demonstrations of interactive presentation graphics generated in R with the SVGAnnotation package, here:http://www.omegahat.org/SVGAnnotation/http://www.omegahat.org/SVGAnnotation/SVGAnnotationPaper/SVGAnnotationPaper.htmlI tried to install the package available at that website (it's not on CRAN) and am getting some pretty uninformative errors (see below).
