keyboard input messed up in Wine 1.1.15?
I'm in Fedora 10 x86_64 and did a system update last night that included updating Wine from 1.1.14 to 1.1.15. Now when I play WoW my keyboard input is all messed up, I hit one key and get the result of another - example W,S,A,D keys used for movement will instead act like the space bar or esc keys, or the other way around. I try to type in chat and whatever key I hit acts like some other key,

[Mesa-dev] [RFC 0/9] Add precise/invariant semantics to TGSI
This looks like the right idea to me too. It may sound a bit weird to do that per instruction, but d3d11 does that as well. (Some d3d versions just have a global flag basically forbidding or allowing any such fast math optimizations in the assembly, but I'm not actually sure everybody honors that without tesselation...) x86 vs x64
Tried with Ubuntu 9.04 x64 Tomb raider III - major slowdowns and breaks Crayon physics - no Breaks but very slow Counter strike 1.6 lower framerates (not much 3-5 fps of diference) Age of empires II a little slower, can't say if it is a wine regression or x64 fault haven't tried wine 1.20 on x86 yet. Flash 8 - Normal speed? can't tell if it's faster or slower it runs at normal

Pixel/Vertex shader status
Hi, I'm just hoping someone can tell me what's going on with shaders in wine. I have a couple of games that will run, but the 3D graphics are corrupted. The games are Clive Barker's Jericho, and Tomb Raider Underworld. They both start and the menu screens work, but the 3D graphics are completely wacked out. Are these maybe examples of shader 3.0, DX9, or something? Is there much

Question About Cursor
So I'm fairly new to the Wine system, and because I own a Mac OSX, what I do is I just download the Wine engines from this website and then just use Wineskin to wrap my games (because i didn't really understand how to compile the binary myself) So for my first wrapper, I figured I'd try a game that I was certain could be ported - and i made sure to check that it had been Platinum/

Tomb Raider 4 and wine 0.9.1(DirectX 6.1)
Hi! I've just installed wine-0.9.1 on my Fedora Core 3 system (Radeon 9600XT - fglrx-8.19.10). While TR3(demo) setup & gameplay runs okay, TR4 breaks and gives me this error output after the setup screen is thru: ALSA lib seq_hw.c:446:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or dir ectory err:int:INSTR_EmulateInstruction mov cr4,eax at 0x0048da53

ATI Radeon 9600 was working once but not anymore....why ? :(
I have been using Mandriva 2008.0 regularly since last Jan so I'm not very good. I have Tomb Raider Anniversary (TRA )and although i had to remove all the graphic options everytime it loads i.e. vsync shadow reflection and water effects, i could play it and i was happy. After some time i had to stop because i had a problem with video codecs and i had to install/remove a lot of things to get

Problem running Samples
Hi. I''m desperately trying to learn Ruby and wxWidgets, on my 64-bit Linux machine. However when I try to run any of the samples from the command line I get the following error message: ruby: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/wxruby-1.9.8-x86_64-linux/lib/wxruby2.so: undefined symbol: Init_wxMediaCtrl I''d be very grateful for any help. Many thanks in advance! --

Direction that wine is going
I had a question about where wine is headed. As a programmer, I like to jump from thing to thing myself, especially new things. However, since wine is supposed to provide a compatability layer, shouldn't it be focusing on the bricks first instead of the sky scraper windows? I'm not saying that I don't like when new directx support comes, and games tend to work better, because I do. A

City of Heroes control problem. Keys repeat.
The problem is that when moving (the most obvious activity you can see this with) the key you press acts like it's being pressed in rapid succession instead of being held down. That is until another key is pressed then the previous key moves the character smoothly. This might be a problem with my keyboard though. But I'm putting this out there just in case anybody else has the same

[RFC 0/9] Add precise/invariant semantics to TGSI
Running Tomb Raider on Nouveau I found some flicker caused by ignoring precise modifiers on variables inside Nouveau. This series add precise/invariant handling to TGSI, which can be then used by drivers to disable certain unsafe optimisations which may otherwise alter calculations, which depend on having the same result across shaders. This series fixes this bug in Tomb Raider and one CTS test

Lossless/lossy hybrid?
Monkey's Audio lossless compressor (currently win32 only, free but not open-source except decoder) author is thinking to implement a kind of audiophile-quality lossy compression which would filter "noise bits" that are hard to encode lossless but which are (or should be) inaudible and thus improve lossless compression (avg. 300-450kbps). I think that implementing something like this

I did post to ovirt-devel but I am not a registered user, so a moderator need to review my posting before it becomes available. I will register, but right now I only have a few seconds to spare. I try to add use "Add Virtual Machine" but the "Storage" is empty. My iSCSI and NFS storage says "State: pending_setup". What am I doing wrong? Sincerely, /bs66

tricky include question
I''ve been here before and maybe I''m trying to do something that is not possible. I am trying to include tables that are associated to other tables in the actual include statement but not to the original table call. In this case the furnii table. this is my original query @furnii_from_furnii = Furni.find :all, :include =>[:raider, {:imageasset => :skin}], :conditions =>
