Crypto hw acceleration for openssl
I got roughly the same performance results when I use the openssl speed
test with and without a hifn 7956 cryto card
Here's what I did:
After the card is plugged in, kldload hifn; kldload cryptodev;
I got the message:

Call to unimplemented function SHELL32.dll.723
Howdy-ho
I'm trying to launch explorer.exe to show a Windows desktop.
I read somewhere that I should use some native DLLs, so my
configuration is the default auto-generated .wine with some native
DLLs on top:
# cd
# cd .wine/drive_c/windows
# cp /mnt/windows/windows/explorer.exe .
# cp /mnt/windows/windows/system32/{shlwapi,rpcrt4,ole32,oleaut32,shdocvw}.dll
./system/
#
# wine explorer.exe

Flashing Window in Quicken
Wine version: all

Symptom: When running quicken, opening the "Split costs"

flashingthe window to proper size then minimized and back
again, as fast as the display will allow.
It appears that the window is opened and the program
attempts to flash the caret but access is denied to

Wine 0.9 - IE - OWA
Hi guys
Has anyone have any workarounds with Internet Explorer 6 not
displaying the mailbox on Outlook Web Access properly?
My specs: Wine 0.9 on FC4, IE6 installed using ies4linux
The problems (as I can see): the right-click context menu on the
mailbox doesn't work (it doesn't display anything) and the compose
email interface is missing the place where you can actually type your
mail

I feel the same.
I'd like to know exactly what it is that people find so convenient about forums.
I'd also like to know why the wine list archives can't

[LLVMdev] MC X86 lacking support for hyphenated VIA Padlock instructions
I was wondering if someone with more familiarity with MC
on X86 could consider looking into adding support for
the hyphenated versions of the VIA Padlock instructions?
If anyone is up for it there are details within these
two bug reports..

Logging on the rsync server from a client connect
Please forgive me for the really dumb question following. I am a complete
newbie to rsync.
I have been trying to set up an rsync server and am unable to get any
logging.
I need to know if the following is possible.
I'm rsyncing from the client and connecting with ssh to an rsync server.
I can connect just fine and the files go with no problem.
I'm going from a
RedHat 7.3 with rsync

Wine is very slow
Hi,
I'm trying to perform a installation of FF8 with wine, but the installation is very slow.
About 2h to perform 10% of the install. Is there any reason about that ? I've a good configuration so it's not the fault of my pc.
Second, no network connexion is available. Can I make it works ?
Thx for your help.

zfs drive keeps failing between export and import
I have a zpool that consists for a two-drive mirror. The two times I
took the zpool offline, I had to resilver one of the drives (the same
drive both times) when I imported it back. All drives in the pool
show no read, write, or checksum errors and are new, so I'm looking to
a software problem before hardware. Both drives are encrypted geli
devices. I tried to reproduce the error with 1GB

OpenSSL ENIGNE support for OpenSSH
Hi all,
attached is a patch that enables using hardware crypto accelerators
available through OpenSSL library for SSH operations. Especially in
ssh/sshd it can bring a significant speed improvement. OTOH if no crypto
engine is available, nothing bad happens and default software crypto
routines are used.
This patch is used in SUSE Linux OpenSSH package and proved to work (at
least it didn't

I'm seeking current cryptographic coprocessors supported in FreeBSD 8.x. By perusing through the crypto-dev (and subsequently referenced) man page(s) I found this list:
Hifn 7751/7951/7811/7955/7956 crypto accelerator
SafeNet 1141/1741
