Shorewall Setup.
Hello Tom and others on the list. Tom - you might recall that the other day (night) I had problems with my axip setup (protocol 93) and we made some changes to the policy, zones and interfaces files. You added ''peers and tunl+'' Following that change nothing seemed to work. In fact you wanted to see the shorewall status file, among other things. Well - tonight, I carefully put

BackupExec 8.5/NT + Samba 2.2
Hi, Does anyone have experience with BackupExec and Samba? BackupExec refuse to access Samba shares. Windows shares are OK, but all my Samba shares are not. I have Samba on at least 2 Linux 2.4 machines + 1 on Solaris. Neither ones work with BExec. Any idea? Other have experience with BExec and Samba? AX25 kernel compile help
Is there someone who can help me compile who can compile the latest kernel with ax25 and other item related to ROSE / NETRom ect. stuff for a project I am working on? I have looked at Knoppix and what not but the kernel seems to be out of date a little. I like the looks and feel of the centos format and the GUI's that CentOS has and wanted to test it out in the Amateur Radio realm. Thanks

Beta upgrade (could not find a decent answer yet)
Greetings All from Florida. As of tonight, Sunday April 14th, 07, I finished loading the dvd iso of 5 beta (or 4.92 as it is shown to be) and went archive diving to see what was up with the updater not finding the 4.92 files on the mirrors.. I only saw a few notes about removing a dev file and something else, then a comment about removing an image file, then a comment about not doing it in X as

Strange problem, please help
Hi all, First of all I repost this email in shorewall list as there are a lot of firewall experts here that might know what the hell i going on. We have also posted this on the linux bridge list (we needed acceptance first) and leaf list. Very thankful for your understanding. [Bridge] [PATCH 000/141] Fix fall-through warnings for Clang
Hi all, This series aims to fix almost all remaining fall-through warnings in order to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang. In preparation to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang, explicitly add multiple break/goto/return/fallthrough statements instead of just letting the code fall through to the next case. Notice that in order to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang, this change[1]

Unknown commments in shorewall status.
I wonder if someone can tell me what these ''unknown'' remarks mean in my status file. They are only in the last portion of the file and are listed below. If they mean nothing, I will rest easy. But if not it means I need to fix something. Your thoughts would be appreciated. ---------------- udp 17 92 src=24.224.173.220 dst=24.222.0.75 sport=1027 dport=53 src=24.222.0.75
