NV50: More patches to test
This is primarily targeted at Koala_BR, but if someone happens to have
a a fully working nouveay g80 setup, then go ahead.
Maarten.

[PATCH] nouveau: make sure initial kalloc for user bo ends up in the right place
- Currently reloc'ing a user bo to gart will first cause an allocation in vram,
which is then cpu written to, then the bo gets moved to gart.

[PATCH 1/6] drm/nv50: align size of buffer object to the right boundaries.
- In the current situation the padding that is added is dangerous to write to,
userspace could potentially overwrite parts of another bo.
- Depth and stencil buffers are supposed to be large enough in general so the
waste of memory should be acceptable.
- Alternatives are hiding the padding from users or splitting vram into 2
zones.

nv50: wfb patches
Not much has changed, except that i've test run these patches for a
few weeks now.
I'm actually surprised i've avoided Out-Of-Memory issues.
Patch 2 remains a temporary hack, awaiting a structural fix by darktama.
The whole thing works fine, but XSHM is an issue
(http://stillunknown.livejournal.com/928.html). With it disabled most
apps are fine, although a few issues remain.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: don't hold spin lock while calling kzalloc with GFP_KERNEL
- 'joi' on irc pointed out that this triggers a BUG_ON, because kzalloc could
sleep.
- The irq handler should restore the value NV03_PFIFO_CACHES, but still it's
better if this stuff doesn't happen in the middle of fifo create context. I see
no reason in spin locking pgraph create context, it isn't activated at that
stage.
- Move and rename the lock after some discussion with

[PATCH/TESTING(all hw)/DISCUSSION] FIFO (minor) create and (major) destroy instabilities on nv50+
Many people using nv50+ hardware are aware of gpu lockups when a fifo
closes under certain conditions. Based on a mmio-trace and some trail
and error testing i've come up with a patch that improves the
situation on my NV96.
This patch needs testing on NV50+ hardware and regression testing on
older hardware, since i did change some of the common codepaths. This
is very much a work in progress,

When will nouveau kernel tree be merged into master
Hi,
I've been using nouveau driveau for 8 months or so, using automated
build from drm git, xf86-video-nouveau git and even sometimes mesa drm
git and discovered the linux-core build did not build the nouveau
driver the hard way: X was refusing to start as the nouveau.ko modules
was not loaded nor build. Build process did chnage without obvious way
to know womething was wrong.
Then I tried

[PATCH] nv50: remove vtxbuf stateobject after a referenced vtxbuf is mapped
- This avoids problematic "reloc'ed while mapped" messages and
some associated corruption as well.
- Also add one nouveau_bo_unmap() in the vbo code that wasn't present.
