[PATCH v3 39/41] xen/events: use virt_xxx barriers
drivers/xen/events/events_fifo.c uses rmb() to communicate with the other side. For guests compiled with CONFIG_SMP, smp_rmb would be sufficient, so rmb() here is only needed if a non-SMP guest runs on an SMP host. Switch to the virt_rmb barrier which serves this exact purpose. Pull in asm/barrier.h here to make sure the file is self-contained. Suggested-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel at

[PATCH] com32: Do not use centralized bitops header in vsscanf
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> Partially revert "com32: add a centralized bitops header" This reverts part of commit db74cf6c4182f40ecf7fad1f04799d09d82f896d. The usage of the centralized bitops in com32/lib/vsscanf.c is not correct because the bitmap that we're accessing is too large for the 'bt', 'bts' and 'btc' instructions to

[patch] bitops on irq_cpustat_t->__softirq_pending
As mentioned earlier, PowerPC''s atomic ops operate on longs, and we have made our *_bit() prototypes use long* (instead of void*) to warn us of problems at compile time. Here''s one caller that was flagged: test_and_set_bit(nr, &softirq_pending(cpu)) Accordingly, we need __softirq_pending to be long, not int. PowerPC is currently using a few files unmodified from the x86

Loosing synch between party 1 & party 2 voice in monitor recording
Hi We have come across a situation where we are loosing synch of party 1 & party 2 voice in call recording. Here is the scenario Party 1 initiate a call to Party 2 using AMI commands When both calls are connected, we bridge these 2 calls. Then we start recording of this bridged call using AMI Monitor command. Monitor command is invoked on Party 1 only. Then we put party 2 on hold. We

password synch with Active Directory and v. 2.0.9
Good morning Samba mailing list. I have found myself suddenly thrown at a Samba problem, and I have been unable to find the answer I need in the documentation. I did find some interesting tidbits on the Samba 2.X trouble shooting guide, but the issue still remains. I'm running Samba 2.0.9 on Solaris 7 and Windows 2000 with Active Directory on some sort of Dell hardware. For the most
