Pb with 2.0.6/2.0.7 and browsing
Hello, When my Samba is the local master browser, it doesn't appear in the Network Neighborhood of the client. There is only the client itself. When the client (Windows NT 4 Workstation) is the local master, the Network Neighborhood shows the only two nodes that I have on my test network, ie the Samba server and the NT 4 Workstation. For the browsing, I use the default

When auth_process_size is reached
What does Dovecot do when dovecot-auth reaches the max size defined by auth_process_size? Does it just prevent it from growing further, or does it cause any problems? Thanks, Bill

Packages build for Solaris ? As CSW packages ?
Well imitation is the highest form of flattery they say. So I''m surprised to see these packages neatly built to install into /opt/csw correctly and yet they exist somewhere else and have nothing to do with us here at Blastwave. fascinating. I guess we can always send an email to the person doing this and just ask if they want those packages in testing and then into the catalog for

Ruby at O''Reilly Rough Cuts
Not sure if this is old news or not, but it would appear that both the Ruby Cookbook and a Rails book are now available for purchase at O''Reilly Rough Cuts (something akin to PragProg''s beta book program): http://rubyurl.com/nHz http://my.safaribooksonline.com/?mode=roughcuts&srchtext=ROUGHCUTS I haven''t tried them yet, but it definitely seems worth checking out.

LLVM APT packages - when will they be back?
Hi, Our tool SMACK (https://github.com/smackers/smack/) relies on installing LLMV from APT packages that used to be provided here: http://llvm.org/apt/ This link has been down for several weeks at this point (I think). Do you have a rough estimate for when you will bring this back? Our users are having trouble installing SMACK due to the above problem, and so I am wondering if we should look

POP3 logging in wrong timezone
I have dovecot running on a CentOS 4.4 server, and it is logging IMAP entries just fine, in the right timezone (GMT+1), which the server itself is running on (CET), but pop3 is being logged in GMT 0, so 1 hour too early. pop3 log-entries are at the right position in the maillog, but with the wrong time next to it. Now I've read some messages in this list about this bug (or feature), but have

Digium B410P and 8 ports connectivity
Hello, Junghanns and BeroNet offer 8 BRI ports cards. Do you know if Digium's B410P has an inner TDM bus so that an 8 BRI ports subsystem (2 PCI slots used, but 1 one set of interrupts) could be made out of 2 B410P ? I know you could (theorically) do this with Junghanns and BeroNet cards. Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Setting up a 'rootless' server - user and auth_user cannot be the same
I am trying to follow http://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/Rootless to set up a personal dovecot server that does not use 'root' and does not need to change uids/gids. I'm trying to set it up on a Cygwin personal system. The problem I'm running into though, the directions say to set "user" and "auth_user" to be the same in this setup. However when you do this, Dovecot
