permissions problem reading INBOX
Hello,
I'm sorry if I'm asking something that is documented - I could swear I
saw something about this (dovecot changing to the uid of the entry in
the userdb when accessing the mailbox), but now I cannot find it
anywhere in the wiki!
Dovecot seems to be getting the right uid for the mailbox, but then it
is having permissions problems. The error is:

divide by zero and CVS version stability
Hello everyone,
I recently stumbled upon an issue in the encoder of the v1.0 SDK. At the end
of each encoding session a divide by zero (D=0) happens in
bark_noise_hybridmp (psy.c:642). This causes a crash on Win9x systems (WinNT
seems to handle this fine by using infinite as the result). My encoding code
is almost identical to the encoder_example, so I'm reasonably sure that this

[LLVMdev] MmapAllocator
Hi Steven-
Nice, but will this not break Windows? From an initial glance over your patch, it seems to assume the existence of mmap() in some form or other.

[LLVMdev] MmapAllocator
Hi folks,
I've been doing work on memory reduction in Unladen Swallow, and
during testing, LiveRanges seemed to be consuming one of the largest
chunks of memory. I wrote a replacement allocator for use by
BumpPtrAllocator which uses mmap()/munmap() in place of
malloc()/free(). It has worked flawlessly in testing, and reduces
memory usage quite nicely in Unladen Swallow.
The code is available

1.0.rc23 tomorrow
http://dovecot.org/nightly/dovecot-latest.tar.gz
Would be nice to get some testing before the actual release.
I've now finally gone through all the "TODO" mails in this list and my
INBOX and fixed pretty much every problem I know of. There are still
some mbox bugs, but I can't really get them fixed unless someone figures
out how to reproduce them

dovecotpw missing (2.0.8)
Hello,
I just installed dovecot version 2.0.8 from the source tarball. After doing
./configure, make, and make install, I don't have the dovecotpw binary
anywhere. It is not in /usr/local/bin or /usr/local/sbin where the other
binaries are; I also did a find / for it and don't see it.
Is there some configuration flag I'm missing? I read the flags in
./configure --help and nothing

plotting a timeline
I was trying to recreate this kind of timeline plot:
http://www.vertex42.com/ExcelArticles/create-a-timeline.html
As you can see in their excel example, the events are nicely placed out on
both sides of the timeline axis.
AFAIK there is no function to do this nicely in R-project. Furthermore,
graphics and lattice packages are unable to draw the x-axis in the middle of
the plot. (datapoints

"spreading out" a numeric vector
I am creating a timeline plot, but running into a problem in positions
where the values to plot are too close together to print the text
without overlap. The simplest way I can think of to solve this
(although there may be other ways?) is to create a new numeric vector
whose values are as close as possible to the original vector, but
spread out to a given minimum difference. For example, take

Retrospectiva - Web project management on Rails
Hi!
For those who are not following the announcements on my blog (yet), a
second release candidate of Retrospectiva v1.0, which I already expect
to be production-ready, has been released recently. To get the
application even more stable I would like to invite all of you to join
the tests.
For more information, please visit http://www.retrospectiva.org.

v1.0 plans, rc11 tomorrow
As you can probably guess from my today's burst of activity, I'm no
longer extremely busy. Actually it looks like for the next 3-4 weeks I
don't have anything especially time consuming to do. So it's time to get
Dovecot v1.0 released :)
I've now read all the mails from this list again, and it looks like
pretty much the only problems with rc10 was the mbox assert crash, which

Prototype question invalid error in IE6
Hi, I''m new to using Prototype and script.aculo.us. I''m trying to use
prototype to adjust an elements top margin based on the height of the
screen. I''m also using script.aculo.us to make the element move
negatively off the left of the window to create a scrolling effect. It
works fine in Firefox, but I keep getting an Invalid argument error in
IE6.
Here my margin code

v1.1 status and benchmarks
v1.1 plans have changed a bit. I'll release v1.1.alpha1 soon and hope to
have a stable v1.1 in a month or two. The rest of the features that
didn't make it into v1.1 will go to v1.2. I'll write more about this
when v1.1 alpha is released.
I also did a bit of benchmarking. v1.1's performance improvements are
looking pretty great, it seems to be twice as fast as v1.0.

GSoC 2016 Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Ayush Tomar. I'll be working on Learning to Rank stabilisation
project over the summers.
Here are a few things that I plan to do in coming few days:
1. Revise the timeline. There are some portions that I had kept for
the first and second week of coding which have already been done (except
writing tests). So, I'd like to adjust the timeline according to it.

LDAP Memory Leak
Hi Timo
I use LDAP auth on a system with around 2000 email account. I use dual
OpenLDAP servers.
I haven't noticed a leak of memory. Is there any more information and I
will have a look to see if I can see anything that might help. Is it only
affecting certain machines or all?

IMQ stability
Hi,
I''ve never actually even tried to use the IMQ device before,
but I''ve watched the emails go back and forth on various problems associated with it,
and what looks like some general instability.
How stable is it really ? Is it suitable for full-time use on a large number of
routers ?
Has anyone used it on ipsec0 + eth0 devices for shaping ?
and lastly, any difference
