Still not quite got my head around what you are expecting to see. Presumably folders for other dates in September. Depending on how and why those folders were created they may not exist. I do note that you used an ls to show the folders, and I'm assuming from the config below you are using Maildir, so try an ls -a to show the hidden folders too (those starting with a .). Hibernation disabled when mailbox selected
After setting imap_hibernate_timeout to 60s, I could not find any hibernated connections after a few hours. I tested hibernation and made an observation: IDLE'd imap sessions only hibernate if they don't have a mailbox SELECT'd, otherwise they never hibernate. Is this the way it's supposed to work? Hello all Ive just discover that ices0 can encode {.ogg,.flac,.mp3} to mp3 streams!.. greate! the script thing is wonderfull. in my script i have defined ices_init ices_shutdown ices_get_next all works greate. 'Bind'-method authentication for LDAP
Has there been any thought given to implementing authentication via an LDAP 'bind', rather than by a password lookup and hash comparison? doing a bind would obviate the need to make the passwords readable by the dovecot process and would lend itself to improved security. Did a recent Samba upgrade change something to lose connection with iptables enabled?
Hello, I am still a newbie to Linux, but I can find my ways around as long as I have help. For some reason if I leave my iptables enabled, I will lose my Samba share connection after a few minutes. SASL Problems
Hello all, I seem to be having a problem with SASL. It doesn't seem to work with Outlook. Upon searching a bit, I found that I need to enable "login" for auth mechanisms. However, when I do that, (after I stop and start dovecot and postfix), and then try to use SMTP auth using Outlook, it causes postfix to crash. It works fine with Thunderbird still though. Dovecot and Outlook - IMAP Timeout error
Hey guys, I'm having a problem with Dovecot and Outlook. I'm testing with Outlook XP (2002), but the problem occurs with Outlook 2003 as well. I'm using Dovecot 1.0.rc28. The specific error generated (for IMAP) is: "A connection to the server could not be established. <servername> is now in offline mode." In the details: "There may be a server or network
