Hello everybody. I have a strange problem with cifs and Samba share. I have a Qnap NAS server (TS-109) and I would like to have a private share where I could keep my stuff and access them through Windows and Linux. But I have an odd problem and I can't tell what's wrong. I can write new files on a share, I can update them but I can't write on special occasions. And because of this

Also everyone who are still experiencing hangs could you try the suggestions in this mail and tell me what happened:

There's a master server now handling dovecot.org and a mirror server handling www/hg/wiki. Would be nice to get another reliable fast mirror server if someone wants to donate one :) Requirements are: - Apache2

dovecot.org broken
Serving it temporarily from a machine in my home. I'll move it to better hosting in a few days. And I guess I should make it more fail safe some day soon.. Lets see if mailman happens to work now.

Dovecot code repository moved to Github
http://hg.dovecot.org/ is no longer being updated. The public repository exists now in https://github.com/dovecot/core instead. I'm not sure yet if we should continue pushing commit emails to dovecot-cvs list or if Github's internal notifications are enough. In any case dovecot-cvs list isn't working right now.

Dovecot + SSL + Fedora
I've been seeing the Dovecot/SSL/Fedora 1 problem. I have a dovecot server which tends to die at least once a day, with messages like these :- May 24 13:44:44 mail pop3-login: RAND_bytes() failed: error:24064064:random number generator:SSLEAY_RAND_BYTES:PRNG not seeded May 24 13:44:44 mail dovecot: Login process died too early - shutting down I noticed Timo's email about this at:

I thought about saying this in v1.2.beta1 release annoouncement, but looks like it'll take a few more days. So I've moved to Blacksburg, Virginia and I'm now working for Mailtrust the rest of this year. Here's some talk about it: http://mailtrust.com/blog (A bit stupid looking picture, but then again all my pictures seem to be that way so I didn't bother getting a new one

Pb with ssl_disable in 1.0RC6
Hi, I have a problem after upgrading dovecot 1.0rc1 to 1.0rc6. I don't use SSL at all so I have 'ssl_disable = yes' in my configuration. This works fine in 1.0rc1 but dovecot 1.0rc6 failed to start with the following error message "dovecot: Login process died too early - shutting down". Setting 'ssl_disable = no' resolves the problem but now dovecot announce TLS

Is it a bug when you move mail between namespaces....
It works for me. I don't know why it wouldn't work for you. Looking at the autoindexing code I don't see how it could be possible that it works for saving but not copying. > On 10 Sep 2015, at 21:05, Larry Rosenman <larryrtx at gmail.com> wrote: > > Is there a fix coming for this, Timo? No disk devices with tap:aio
Hello! First, I must mention that I am not too experienced with virtual machines, so please be gentle :-) It''s my first experiment, and I''ve been working on getting things to work during the past weeks. I''m getting close, but now it seems I''m completely stuck. I''m in the process of testing Xen with Open Nebula, but I have run into some problems.
