Hi, I just upgraded from: samba-3.0.23d-1 to: samba-3.0.25b-3 After starting samba, I could no longer connect to any share, I get this error: NT_STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND I builded both samba rpm using the packaging/RHEL/makerpms.sh script on Centos 4.5 Is there any big change in 3.0.25? I am soon going to be setting up a box to run VMware server but have to make the choice between Centos 4.x or 5.x.. I have tested both and VMware installs in both.. So are there any pros or cons to either version or does it make no difference at all? TIA

Is there a method to display pop up messages on X display? I found xmessage, however I was hoping for something a little more flexible. like being able to tell xmessage to display a file (typically one line in the file). then send it a signal to tell it to re-read the file and show the new data. Hi, I am trying to migrate my files from a Windows XP Pro box to a new server running OpenSuSE 10.2/Linux 2.6.18 (x86_64) and Samba 3.0.25b.
