invariant.load metadata semantics
Sanjoy, can you clarify this bit about JVM array lengths?
Presumably the same pointer can point to two arrays of different lengths
during a program's execution. Does this mean that you're relying on
invariant.load having function scope? That is, correctness depends on the
pointer not being reused for an array of a different length between the
first invariant load of that array length in

[LLVMdev] Question about the old C back-end
Hello all,
When going through the internals of the old C back-end, I see that the
CBE encapsulates arrays into a struct. The source code has the
following comment to explain this behaviour.
// Arrays are wrapped in structs to allow them to have normal
// value semantics (avoiding the array "decay").
For example, the CBE translates:
@a = common global [10 x i32]

Multiple IP(or Host) listen in dovecot.conf.
Hi.
Does someone make update for `Multiple IP(or Host) listen in
dovecot.conf'?
I made trivial patch so.
But this patch doesn't solve `Support listening in multiple sockets'
in TODO. It appends only the capability as multiple listen in
dovecot.conf. So, `login_processes_count' becomes ambiguous.
In CASE1, login_processes_count = 2, forked imap-login processes are
8.

dovecot-uidlist locking
Hi all,
I've a dovecot server setup and occassionally clients cannot get mails
from their inbox. When I inspect the maildir for that user, there is
stale dovecot-uidlist.lock file, and imap process keeps waiting for
release of the lock. Is there any other method to perform locking on
dovecot-uidlist instead of using dotlock mechanism?
It is creating maintenance problems if I need to remove

plot image matrix with row/col labels
I'm working with an historical image that may be (one of?) the first
uses of gray-scale shading to show the pattern of values in a
matrix/table, later used by Bertin in his 'reorderable matrix'
and sometimes called a scalogram.
The image is at

The rows refer to the arrondisements of Paris, the cols to various

pap2 Dial plan
Hi
i am using pap2 phone adaptors as clients to connect to asterisk server
i am able to make calls but i cannot access voice mail using phone
or start recording while call is in progress
and when i place a call to local sip extension there is a long pause ( 15
sec )
before the call gets dialled
i assume that the problem would be due to the dial plan in PAP2
if so please help me changing it
