timeout error in dovecot.log
Hello, I have upgraded to Dovecot 1.0.0, I saw a lot of error in the dovecot.log file: Timeout while waiting for lock for transaction log file /fs/example.com/joewong/Maildir/dovecot.index.log where /fs is a NFS mounted directory. What can be the cause of this problem? How to prevent this from happening? Thanks! - Joe

Has anyone seen anything like this before? I can get it to happen all the time if I issue a HEAD request, but it only happens very intermittently on GET requests. I''m using Ruby 1.9.2p180. question about using procmail
Thanks Michael, I have followed your advice and reading more wiki page and understood that if FTS is not updated during delivery, it will be updated when there is new SEARCH request going into Solr. Is my understanding correct? - Joe On Mon, Jul 30, 2018 at 8:22 PM Michael Wagner <wagner_m_bremen at web.de> wrote: > On Jul 30, 2018 um 16:48:13, Joe Wong wrote: > > Hello, I am

question about using procmail
Hello, I am new to Dovecot, testing the setup with Solr FTS plugin. Currently I am using procmail to delivery email into user's mailbox. I am using maildir on file system. I found that if email is delivered via procmail, the indexer-worker is not being called. But when I move the email between folders via IMAP, indexer is involved. Is this expected? - Joe -------------- next part

What client(s) use this and how? I've used virtual folders - by explicitly "subscribing" to them and then performing a search within them. By hiding the virtual folders how do you use them? --- Daniel ------ Original Message ------ From: "Joe Wong" <joewong99 at gmail.com> To: "Aki Tuomi" <aki.tuomi at open-xchange.com> Cc: dovecot at dovecot.org;

index to select rows of a large matrix
Dear R Users, I have created a 1500 x 20000 data frame - DataSeq. Each of the 1500 rows represents a data sequence. I have another data frame iData that stores the information of these 1500 data sequences in the same order, for example, condition, gender, etc. If I use "subset" to select certain groups within iData according to some criteria that I have set, e.g. condition, gender Then
