Support for Kmail maildir format
Has anyone looked into providing support in dovecot for Kmail folders? I would like to make my Kmail folders (on my main desktop system) available to my other systems (including over a VPN when I am travelling). Kmail is my main mail program and I have a lot of mail in a lot of folders, so I don't want to set up a separate IMAP service and move all the mail and folders. Kmail's use

dot-containing foldernames \HasNoChildren bug ?
Hello, we experience problems with dovecot configuration using the listescape plugin to allow dots in foldernames. In some mail clients, dot-containing folders won't show any subfolders. This seems to be related to the fact that the \HasNoChildren flag is set on such folders even if subfolders do exits. Here is an example from telnet session: * LIST (\HasNoChildren) "/"

differential SETACL silently fails if no vfile exists
In version 2.2.13, with `acl = vfile`, setting a differential ACL permission doesn't work if there are no permissions set yet. Example IMAP log: b1 GETACL test * ACL test valodim lrwstipekxacd b1 OK Getacl completed. b2 SETACL test valodim -l b2 OK Setacl complete. b3 GETACL test * ACL test valodim lrwstipekxacd b3 OK Getacl completed. My expectation was that the file would be created with

How to specify pattern for share folder using ACL vfile
My `90-acl.conf` file looks like: plugin { #acl = vfile:/etc/dovecot/global-acls:cache_secs=300 #acl = mysql:/etc/dovecot/dovecot-dict-sql.conf.ext acl = vfile } # To let users LIST mailboxes shared by other users, Dovecot needs a # shared mailbox dictionary. For example: plugin { #acl_shared_dict = file:/var/lib/dovecot/shared-mailboxes

CentOS 8 updates
Hi Is it my imagination/impatience, but I don't seem to have received any updates to CentOS 8 recently. I'm thinking particularly of firefox which was updated in CentOS 7 for a critical security update. Is there a backlog of CentOS 8 updates behind the 8.2 release? I noticed on a few occasions that my local mirroring had picked up and later deleted a lot of "tmp" files for

internet.R test hangs if http proxy needed (PR#3108)
Full_Name: Barry Rowlingson Version: 1.7.0 OS: RH8/Mandrake 9.1 Submission from: (NULL) (194.80.32.8) internet.R in the tests directory hangs during 'make check' if an http proxy is needed for http access from the machine. This happens in the httpget function defined therein. It tries to make a direct socket connection to port 80 of a remote machine, and if local network policy does not

Non-customizable parts in the routes hierarchy-chain.
Hi I created a custom route that looks like this: map.connect '':controller/:table/:action/:id'' Hierarchically, :table is above :action and :id. So, if we call ActionController::Base#url_for with an argument :table=>nil, we''re supposed to get a url with :action and :id set to nil as well. However, this is not the case: url_for(:table=>nil) from

Query: Centos 4.2 availability
Hi, Not meaning to rush you folks (you're doing a great job). But I'm about to install/clone 4 computers with Centos 4. When can I expect 4.2 to be out (in DVD format preferably)? As in, is it worth waiting and saving myself the later hassle extra downloads? [I don't actually have 4.1 DVD's, just 4.0, so I pretty much have to download the DVD.ISO anyway] Cheers & Thanks,

RFC: Refactor SubclassData
I've tested it on MSVC, gcc, clang and icc. The solution in clang (in Decl.h) is not ideal (as you have said yourself). The solution I offer, is using a union of fields of class BitField (this is a new class that implements a bitfield of a specific type requested). With this, the definition, of the required bitfields in the subclass data, remains in the hands of the actual class needing them.

Does Dovecot allow different clients to subscribe different subsets of IMAP folders?
I have a working Dovecot IMAP server (v. 2.2.9) where I have a single user but a lot of folders (over 800 in total, hierarchically arranged, about 50 of which are in active use.) I have multiple clients (including k9Mail on Android and Thunderbird on Linux and Windows). These clients all present a consistent subscription to a single subset of the available folders . What I'd like to be

maildir rename_subfolders() and listescape interaction
I'd like to flag a problem we are observing that looks like it is caused by the listescape-plugin.c. I realize that this plugin is not part of the standard Dovecot 1.0 distribution but I would appreciate any insights or suggestions for fixes that anyone is kind enough to offer. The problem concerns subfolder renames when used in conjunction with Maildir folders (I've not tested this

Refactoring''s code needs refactoring''s specs?
Hi guys, I have one question: When refactoring the working code I need or should refactoring the specs too? My old code is: http://pastie.org/private/gpskgtavm4yzutanq1ro3w My new refactored code: http://pastie.org/private/2emgi1hr5iga3m9jib4q and the specs that are still passing without refactoring: http://pastie.org/private/qn3uaoin0k2n8vjsusssg Regards. -- "Most of you are

batch job GLM calculations
Hello I want to batch job the calculation of many GLM-models, extract some values and store them in a file. Almost everything in the script below works (read file, extract values and write them to file) except I fail in indexing the GLM with the modelstructure it should run. Running GLM's conventionally is no problem. Conventionally a GLM is calculated as:

Enduring LME confusion… or Psychologists and Mixed-Effects
Dear ExpeRts, Suppose I have a typical psychological experiment that is a within-subjects design with multiple crossed variables and a continuous response variable. Subjects are considered a random effect. So I could model > aov1 <- aov(resp~fact1*fact2+Error(subj/(fact1*fact2)) However, this only holds for orthogonal designs with equal numbers of observation and no missing values.

lmer syntax, matrix of (grouped) covariates?
I have a fairly large model: > length(Y) [1] 3051 > dim(covariates) [1] 3051 211 All of these 211 covariates need to be nested hierarchically within a grouping "class", of which there are 8. I have an accessory vector, " cov2class" that specifies the mapping between covariates and the 8 classes. Now, I understand I can break all this information up into individual

Ubuntu 18.04 bionic: availability of R Ubuntu packages/ppa?
awesome, merci Dirk! and my apologies for not scrolling down better, I failed to see that the 18.04 update was linked to the R 3.5 issue . Further, please forgive my impatience, but I was very curious to see if the package tidyverse could be installed: I have the impression that it is short of being installed, missing just a few simple packages (with no apparent non-R dependencies). Indeed, a
