What client(s) use this and how? I've used virtual folders - by explicitly "subscribing" to them and then performing a search within them. By hiding the virtual folders how do you use them? --- Daniel ------ Original Message ------ From: "Joe Wong" <joewong99 at gmail.com> To: "Aki Tuomi" <aki.tuomi at open-xchange.com> Cc: dovecot at dovecot.org;

PATCH: mysql authentication
Here's another patch. This one isn't much different from the last patch, except it tries a little harder to make sure that the required fields are returned by the query (like the pgsql module does). One question about how t_strdup works. How and who should memory returned by t_strdup be freed? My patch has a function my_get_str() which returns the value of t_strdup, and then I do

Patch: ioloop using kqueue/kevent for FreeBSD
Hi, I would like to submit the attached patch. It implements IO loop using FreeBSD's kqueue/kevent syscalls. It is based on snapshot of CVS HEAD as of 2005-12-12. I could only give it limited testing on FreeBSD 5.4 but it works fine so far. dict: Leaked a t_pop() call in I/O handler
Hello, I've just installed another postfix+dovecot based mail service (I love dovecot! :-), and I found this message "dict: Leaked a t_pop() call in I/O handler (nil)" being logged each time I authenticate against it via POP3 or IMAP. Searching through the code, I've found this (this is Dovecot v1.0.8): ---- src/dict/dict-cache.c ---- void dict_cache_unref(struct dict_cache

Dict proxy client returning empty string instead of multiline string
Hi! Looking at the code, I think the bug is that it just copies pointer to the value, it should, instead, duplicate the value to some memory region. Can you see if this following patch fixes it? Oh duh, it used datastack pool. Try again with the attached patch? Please remember to clear the previous one out before trying. question about using procmail
Hello, I am new to Dovecot, testing the setup with Solr FTS plugin. Currently I am using procmail to delivery email into user's mailbox. I am using maildir on file system. I found that if email is delivered via procmail, the indexer-worker is not being called. But when I move the email between folders via IMAP, indexer is involved. Is this expected? - Joe -------------- next part

Dict proxy client returning empty string instead of multiline string
