Recieving e-mail is not updating quota
Hello again.
When I send e-mail locally from userX at mydomain to userY at mydomain the
quota in userY at mydomain isn't updated with the new message, but the
message arrives fine. It's not a userX problem, because it's equal if
it's userY sending userX.
When I save an message, the quota is updated. Or when the userX sends
the e-mail, his quota is updated too. The problem is that

suspected bug in dovecot-ldap setup?
Hi everyone,
[first post: long and boring. beware!]
I've been working on a virtual multidomain MX server with pop3 access.
Accounting for users/domains is done via OpenLDAP with the Jamm[1] schema and
dovecot is 1.0rc10 (dovecot-1.0-0_27.rc10.el4.at fetched as RPM from
atrpms.net for CentOS 4.4).
I intended to have authenticated binds but there was a problem with the

Trouble getting public folders working
Hi i have trouble getting my public folders working properly. I have a
few issues atm with them.
First off i'm using version 2.0.9 as it came with CentOS and would
greatly prefer to keep this version.
Here is my dovecot.conf file
# dovecot -n
# 2.0.9: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.centos.plus.x86_64 x86_64 CentOS release

Crash on malformed ldap user_filter
I did a little too much copy/paste, and ended up with an ldap config
file containing a line of the form
user_filter = user_filter = (&objectClass=...
(with "user_filter =" repeated). This caused the auth process to
segfault (v1.1.rc1). I suppose that I can reproduce this problem if
more information is needed.

Help with LDAP authentication - user / user+domain
Hello Folks,
I've my dovecot working well and authenticating in my ldap servers.
But I'd like configure my users to authenticate in two ways. One is just
submitting the username and the other one is providing user at domain.com .
I'm moving from a cyrus-imap solution to dovecot and I've implemented it
with VD domains. But nowadays I still have one domain at my servers.

This might be an easy question, but here it goes: how can I know the
quota of an determined user?
I'm trying to use maildir quota...
Regards,
Rodrigo.

dovecot/openldap auth problems?
Hi folks.
New to both dovecot and openldap. Trying to set up virtual domains
using the wanderingbarque howto:
http://www.wanderingbarque.com/mailserver.html
Platform is RH enterprise 3.
Only difference is I'm trying to use phamm instead of jamm:
http://phamm.rhx.it/
dovecot doesn't seem to want to play nice with my openldap; everything
else (postfix, etc) seems to work alright.

Update from pdbsql (MySQL) to LDAP
Hi All!
I have a Samba as PDC for my domain MY_NETWORK running normally.
What I want to do is to install another server with OpenLDAP as
backend, and migrate the users and the domain to it.
Can anyone point me how to do it?
Below is my configuration.

Dovecot-auth timeouts
Hello,
I've unfortunately been unable to find anything relating to the problem I'm having specifically, in searching the list or google, and so I now plead to you to assistance.
I'm running Dovecot as an LDA and SASL auth for Postfix on a Debian 4 box. Dovecot is version 1.0.rc15 (the official debian pkg version).
The problem I'm running into is this. After some time of

Errata: dovecot + ldap + virtual mailbox: building mail location path
Hi all again,
I've just realized that I did a bad cut&paste in my previous mail, then
I rewrite my request. I apologize.
I am trying to set up my dovecot configuration using LDAP and virtual
mailboxes. I succeeded in authenticating the users correctly with LDAP,
but have problems with referencing the correct mail location directory.
I manage several domains. The mailboxes are stored
