Thanks Buddy,
I got it working. It was giving error when running make 'undefined

2.8.1 build buglet: sockdebug.c
I am (belatedly) updating pkgsrc to 2.8.1 (+ bugfix).
(FWIW, I think a 2.8.1.1 or 2.8.2 immediately with the fix is in order.
>From a packaging viewpoint, the effort to update for a release is about
3 minutes plus time to adapt anythhing that has changed. So I'd much
rather have releases more often.)
In the pkgsrc build, nut finds tcp wrappers because they are part of the
base system.

with-tcp-wrappers enable ?
Hello,
I try to compile openssh-2.9p1 on a SGI Origin 200 computer under IRIX
6.5 with the option --with-tcp-wrappers enable. I have also compiled
tcp-wrapper and have installed the library libwrap.a in /usr/lib and the
file tcpd.h in /usr/include.
When i run the ./configure script i have a error. The script asked me
that the libwrap is missing.
How can i resolve this ?
Thanks.
Bests Regards

Postfix with Deliver (LDA) - user unknown
Good Day All! I am attempting to configure deliver as our LDA. I am
also configuring the server to use Postfix instead of Sendmail. I
have followed the all the documentation and examples I could find.
Below are my Dovecot and Postfix configs. Can someone please smack me
upside the head and tell me why I am getting "user unknown" errors?
If i don't use deliver as the LDA, all

What version do you have? Maybe it is some alternate implementation?

Creating Windows services
Hello,
Documentation mentions that Windows service resource provider "can start,
stop, enable, and disable services".
Is it possible to create (register) a service using this provider?
I''m running stand-alone Puppet agent 3.4.2 on Windows.
Thanks,
Igor.

dovecot-2.0.beta3 tcpwrapper support in Solaris
Hi,
2.0 compiles fine in Solaris but and I've found only one glitch so far.
Tcpwapper support needs some tweaks. I need to add
CPPFLAGS=/usr/sfw/include because tcpd.h is in there. Then also
LDFLAGS='-R/usr/sfw/lib -L/usr/sfw/lib' is needed. It would be nice to
have --with-tcpwrap-dir or something.
After this linking gives an error
Undefined first referenced symbol in file

LiveIce/IceCast Error
Greetings everyone....
I tried posting this once before, but got no response.
When I run liveice, I get an "Error:sending data to remote server
message" from liveice, and then it hangs (I actually have to open
another console window to kill the process).
The IceCast server respond with the following:
Kicking source 1 [127.0.0.1] [Access Denied (tcp wrappers (source
connection))]

postfix - killed by signal 11 - debug help
Any suggestions to help me troubleshoot a "killed by signal 11" problem
with Postfix? I've Googled and fiddled, but cannot figure it out. I
have no idea where to look/start.
Based on this post, Wietse suggests this type of problem happens when
there compiled with different libraries. I tried ldd on various
programs and found they all seemed to line up, but I know little.

TCP wrappers and 2.9.9p2
I don't know if this is still a problem in the latest snapshot, but with
2.9.9p2, if you do a "./configure ... --with-tcp-wrappers", there's no way
to specify a location for tcpd.h and libwrap.a. This is troublesome on
Solaris where you might install stuff like that in /opt/lib or
/usr/local/lib or something that is not searched by default.

HPUX warning during build spotted
?Hello everybody,
during the last build (#380) on HPUX (eaton-hpux11-pa-risc buildslave),
I've noticed the following warning when compiling upsd:
../../server/upsd.c:417: warning: implicit declaration of function 'fromhost'
fromhost is either an alias for sock_host or declared as
extern void fromhost() in tcpd.h (iff any of TLI or PTX or TLI_SEQUENT macra

tcp-wrapper not found
Hi, all!
Actually I have two questions for a same reason: I want to share my NUT to my LAN, or read UPS from remote device.
/**************** firstly *****************/
I downloaded tcp-wrapper, but NUT could not detected it.
Previously I successfully configured and make NUT into my embedded system. It worked and UPS is recognized.
I downloaded tcp-wrapper (Ver 7.6, most files in the package

Restricting Services (POP or IMAP)
It would be great to have a HOWTO in the wiki, on how to restrict
services by username in dovecot, so some users are allowed IMAP
and others not allowed.
As concerns restricting users by IP, I believe that is a bad idea.
It's almost a useless idea, imnsho, because they can connect from
another IP.
It's easy to restrict services by IP using a firewall or by using
inetd.

puppetd hanging on some nodes
Hi All,
In my set-up, I''ve got a cron job that triggers a Puppet run every 20
minutes. I''ve found that on approximately 13 nodes (out of 166),
puppetd just hangs. I have to go in, kill the process, remove
/var/lib/puppet/state/puppetdlock, and run puppet again and then it''s
fine.
After a while, it just hangs again so I have to go in, kill the process, etc.
Any ideas?
