Where to report (possible) bugs? Redhat? Bugzilla?
Hi
I want to know whether this is a bug and report it but I do
not know where to report it. Upstream?
Background:
It seems upon booting there is a problem where the ifup-route
file is called before the actual interface is up.
I put some "logger -t ifup-route.jobst ... " messages into the
"/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-route" and those messages

Dict quota calculation errors "remote disconnected"/"broken pipe" on 2.22.
Keywords: dovecot, dict, quota, postgre sql, broken pipe, remote
disconnected
Having Dovecot 2.2.22 (fe789d2) with Postgre SQL 9.5
(9.5.5-0ubuntu0.16.04) as the backend. I do not understand why quota
service is not working, not seeing it as a configuration error at least.
My quotas are DICT/SQL based.

iptables - Forwarding with port translation thru an OpenVPN tunnel
Perhaps someone with a sharper brain than I can solve this little mystery.
I've Googled until I'm blue in the face, read all TFM's I can find, and
tried several iptables rule combinations but just can't get the following to
work. Here's my challenge:
I have a CentOS-5.3 "main" server with a static public IP address
running Apache, OpenVPN, and a bunch of other

Samba 1.9.18p7 Password Lock Problem on AIX 4.1.4.0
I've been running SAMBA 1.9.14 and 1.9.17p4 for successfully for some
time. Recently I thought it would be useful to update to the latest
SAMBA version 1.9.18p7. This is the first time we are using Samba with
the built-in DES.
Here is our configuration:
Machines: IBM RS/6000 AIX 4.1.4.0 or AIX 4.2.1.0
Compiler: xlC 3.1.4.0
My smb.conf file:

Hi,
I had the similar messages after an upgrade then downgrade. I was able to fix by removing all indexes files.

Proxy to gmail not working
Hi,
I've been trying to build a password forwarding proxy to Gmail without
success... The SSL connection to Dovecot is happening no problem (as far as
I can tell), but for some reason the conversation between Dovecot and Gmail
is getting timed out.
I know this is supposed to be simple... :-( But could somebody please
give me some help by pointing what I'm not doing right?

Dovecot crash
Exactly - I removed then with
find . -name "dovecot.index*" -type f -delete
There is no need to restart dovecot. IMAP client will be forced to resync all the emails from the server.

thank you for guidance,
just to recap the issue was about squirrelmail giving a wrong message : "connection dropped by imap server" instead of "invalid user or password"
as advised i connected using command line on both my old and new servers, and have posted the details including the output of dovevcot -n.
1) command prompt login. i put wrong password

"storage error during logout"
What is this error message actually trying to tell me?
May 28 13:47:24 yyy dovecot: POP3(aaa at bbb): Disconnected: Storage error
during logout. top=0/0, retr=2/73195, del=0/435, size=13509375
This user is accessing his mailbox using both POP3 and IMAP, I don't
know if that's relevant. The POP3 check is quite aggressive; once every
minute or so.

H.323 problem, calls don't get answered by asterisk
Hello,
I'm trying to setup an asterisk extension to be attached to an H.323
gatekeeper so that an asterisk application (Astcc) answers H.323 calls from
any terminal logged into the gatekeeper.
I'm using asterisk's channels/h323 implementation, and I've configured the
following in h323.conf:
[general]
port = 1720
bindaddr = AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD
allow=all
gatekeeper=XXX.YYY.ZZZ.AAA

Dovecot crash
This happening when my Thunderbird client is trying to establish a
connection with a Dovecot server. Some background first:
1) I am running Thunderbird 6.20.1 from a Linux client.
2) Other clients (e.g. Maildroid in my Android phone) do not have any
issues.
3) The Dovecot software is version 2.2.9, running in a Linux server.
4) This may be the root of the problem: at some point, the

new crashes: is the index/mail cache endian neutral?
Part of our migration plan takes our users from one endianness to
another (big to little). Will the index and mail cache files survive? I'm
seeing some new core dumps as the first test user is migrated, which makes me
think... not. What about if we want to build dovecot 64 bit in the future?
Will that cause problems too?
Stack trace is below the log messages. I've edited the
