Failed to bind to uuid NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
here's the nuance, I just had to put this script in the samba folder,
because after assembly I do not find it in the samba folders, although this
script is in the source code, maybe I forgot to specify some keys before
assembly, but I would like to understand how in this in the script, just
hardcode the paths to the directories

OK, but where did you get the Samba packages from, by default, Centos,
like RHEL cannot be provisioned or joined as a DC.

A Windows-based domain controller is definitely not an RODC, I can?t
understand why it goes to this line, I?m putting together a package for
testing myself, making some changes to it, maybe this is related to this,
tell me about local, why it?s not advisable to use .local

This all depends on how you are running Samba, if you are running it as
a standalone server, then it uses an encrypted password, but if you are
running a Samba AD

salt in Samba password
I am asking this question for general samba development, I just know that
windows ad does not use salt, but I thought that samba ad has it, but thank
you for the answer, but tell me is there an opportunity to enable salt on
samba ad? or will it lead to problems with windows ad

how can this parameter be enabled in Samba?

I added a private directory, but this did not fix the problem, and for some
reason the other path still appears
testparm -v | grep private
Load smb config files from /opt/samba/etc/smb.conf
Loaded services file OK.
Weak crypto is allowed by GnuTLS (e.g. NTLM as a compatibility fallback)

Add a 'private dir' to your smb.conf matching where your Samba packages
are putting 'private'.

Join 2012 Server R2 as member to NT domain
Is it still possible to join a Windows 2012 Server R2 system as a member
to a 'pre-NT5' Samba (3.6.23) domain controller? The Windows 'Domain
Change' GUI errors immediately after failing the SRV lookup for the AD
server. Even with the SRV record in place, the GUI fails trying to
connect to the non-existent LDAP port.
Netdom on the command line tries to work if the DC name

Join 2012 Server R2 as member to NT domain
I don't have anything but Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 to test with. 2003
joins the domain without issue. 2008 and 2012 will not. The registry
has been updated on both:

Failed to bind to uuid NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Good afternoon, tell me, this error occurs on the domain controller samba v
4.19.0, I paired the domain controller with sssd so that authentication
occurs under domain accounts on the domain controller, but as you know,
sssd changes the machine password every 30 days if this option is not
disabled

I haven?t disabled it for 30 days and as I understand it,

some question regarding random forest
Hi,
I had two questions regarding random forests for regression.
1) I have read the original paper by Breiman as well as a paper
dicussing an application of random forests and it appears that the one
of the nice features of this technique is good predictive ability.
However I have some data with which I have generated a linear model
using lm(). I can get an RMS error of 0.43 and an R^2 of
