Close succes en NV34M, vertical fencing problem
Hello list,
I just had a first shot at the "nouveau" Xorg driver, I'm a regular
"nv" user. It compiled and installed without a itch in a short time,
congrats (great instructions on
http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/InstallNouveau), ran fine... but
with a funny vertical fencing effect: one vertical line out of two was
black. After a few minutes, the effect would

Kudos and feature question
Kudos all that maintain this awesome and enduring piece of software. Awesome job, many thanks.
I’ve come across a use case that would greatly benefit form a —delete-older-than <secs> argument. This would behave the same as —delete only sparing files dest that have a creating time less than <secs> ago. How hard would this be to implement? Where would I start ?
TIA,
Francois

putting "/tmp" to memory
"to memory" means: mounting a ~2 GByte filesystem [ tmpfs?, or ramfs? ], and put the "/tmp" on it. [ e.g.: 4 GByte ram in the pc ]. what to write in the "/etc/fstab"?
I would like to collect the [ answers too:P ]:
Advantages:
- Memory is way faster then HDD/SSD, so it could speed things up
- "SSD amortization" is less
Disadvantages:
- Security?

iTunes
Hi All,
I am putting together a high end workstation quote for a customer. He is
going to want a Virtual Machine, specifically so he can run iTunes (his
wife buys music through iTunes and sync's them to her iPod).
So which VM would you guys use? KVM or Virtual Box?
I am very familiar with KVM and adore it. It's USB support is kind of
weird though (iPod).
I have been seriously burned

data frame names in sequence
I've been stuck with this problem for a whole afternoon. It's silly but
totally pissed me off. I have a set of data frames with names in a sequence:
df_1, df_2, df_3, ..., df_20. Now I want to access each data frame (read or
write) in a for loop, in a way something like this:
for (i in 1:20) {
df_i <- ######
length(which(df_i[,7]==1))
######
}
I tried paste or cat

Thirdlane Connect can be used as a softphone. It works in modern browsers (no installation is required), on Mac, Windows and Linux desktops, and on mobile phones.
Besides basic softphone functionality, it provides instant messaging, group chat (channels), voice and video conferencing, and screen sharing. It integrates with a variety of applications and CRMs such as Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk,
