Sweave and Textwrangler
Hi, I am trying to get TextWrangler to work with LaTeX and Sweave. Ideally I would call a script from TextWrangler that would run Sweave on a document, then LaTeX (using SyncTeX), and finally open the corresponding pdf in Skim. Of course I don't always need to run Sweave and would be looking for the option of LaTeX -> Open. I found this http://www.xs4all.nl/~msneep/latex/ but it

Textwrangler Languages Folder
Dear R Community, I recently switched to a Mac (10.6.5), and have installed Textwrangler to run code to R. However, I can't install the syntax highlighting file because I can't find the directory: "~Users/username/Library/Application Support/TextWrangler/Language Modules/". Is there a different location I can place the syntax highlighting file? Scott [[alternative HTML

[LLVMdev] TableGen highlighting files for TextWrangler/BBEdit
Hi, I've written a syntax highlighting mode for TextWrangler / BBEdit. The folding still needs work, and the keyword list expanded, but I thought I'd post it here in case anyone has use for it. Files are available at: https://github.com/RonRicoSuave/drunken_octopus/tree/master/textwrangler-tablegen After I have folding working to my liking I can check it in to the LLVM tree if it

No way to indent text?
How could one indent (not quote) a block of text? This is commonly done in Wikipedia with one or more colons at the beginning of the line, and is very handy for threaded discussions. An example is at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/MojoMojo&diff=next&oldid=275101911 -- Dan Dascalescu http://wiki.dandascalescu.com

How to get print file name from samba?
Hello guys, Is there any way I can get the print file name from samba when I send a print job to a print share from MS windows? Is there any variable to do so? Is there any way to run programs before samba actually save the file? This is because I would like to run virus checker before actually saving files to samba. Thanks for help! Problem of generating file from samba print share
Hi all, I am using samba 2.2.1a-4 on RH linux 7.2. I created a print share to convert incoming print file to pdf file through a program called ps2pdf. I would like to generate the pdf file with filename same as the original print file name. I use the %s variable to get the name. Is that correct? I used to use this method with older RH package and it ran correctly. However when I upgrade it to use

samba 3.0.24 works - samba 3.0.25 fails
Folks: I've got several systems attached to a 2003 domain where we use kerberos to authenticate. When I upgraded a system to the latest greatest samba things stopped working. Just to find where it happened in the different versions of samba I downloaded, built, & ran 3.0.23d to 3.0.25c using the same smb.conf file. Turns out the 2.0.23d and 3.0.24 works but from 3.0.25 on it fails.

DRb server crashing
I''m having a problem where the DRb server seems to be disappearing (crashing?) and I don''t know how to track down the cause or work around the problem. Unfortunately I haven''t found a way to reproduce the problem, but it seems to happen fairly often (maybe once a day). Other then that ferret seems to be working well. I can''t seem to find any trace of the

buggy HTML from nested lists w/ paragraphs
I ran into a weird problem while writing my own little guide to Markdown (using Markdown, of course). The document is mostly made of list items in nested ul's. As I neared the end, I found (via MarsEdit's preview) that in place of two sections of content, Markdown had begun to generate gibberish strings like this: aa9ca05a7c006bc5e5c091c00aee0cd7 After weeding through different

writing tools that use light-markup
let's talk about writing tools that use markdown (or more broadly, another form of light-markup)... to begin with, there is the markdown "dingus"... from a demo perspective, it has been _fantastic_. it has provided interested observers a quick idea about the simplicity and the power of markdown. as a writing tool, it's a bit clunky; it will work, yes, but i'd doubt many

Better tools for authoring the view
I''m hand editing my .css and .rhtml files using SciTE and hitting refresh in my browser to see the results - its slow going. What tools are people using to author their .css and .rhtml files? standalone markdown
Hi Is it possible to run Markdown the app standalone, that is, not as part of a webserver. So the model would be write a file in Markdown and then use the Markdown app to convert the file into (x)html for local browsing in a browser. I want to learn Markdown before I have to go through the pain of setting up a webserver. I have been trying to get jetty working on Fedora 16 but keep

ok, now i've got it correct
ok, now i've got it correct. sorry for all the confusion. to get sales-unit-rankings, enter through "top charts", which will give you at least the top-180 in unit volume. "marked" comes in presently with a sales-rank of #50. and "multimarkdown composer" rings in now at #131. writeroom, scrivener, and iawriter knot from #17-#19. and the newbie
