Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected (only when in auto/)
Hi all
When I have a domU that resides in the auto directory I get ''Error: Device
2049 (vbd) could not be connected'' and the domain starts in a paused mode.
Shutting it down and restarting has the same effect. Following is some
output from the xm log and an attempted restart.
Directly after dom0 reboot:

xendomains and hypervisor splitting
So, let's get started!
One of the first changes we might want to do is move away
/etc/sysconfig/xendomains... We should put it either in /etc/default/xendomains
(since it's an init script configuration) or /etc/xen/xendomains (since it's xen
related)... Which one do you prefer?
As for the way to do it I propose a dpatch file that changes the two files in
the upstream tarball that

AOE (Ata over ethernet) troubles on xen 2.0.6
I understand that all work is going into xen3, but I had wanted to note
that aoe (drivers/block/aoe) is giving me trouble on xen 2.0.6 (so we
can keep and eye on xen3).
Specifically I can''t see nor export AOE devices. As a quick background
on AOE, it is not IP (not routable, etc), but works with broadcasts and
packets to MAC addresses (see http://www.coraid.com).

Problem compiling a custom kernel for xen-3.0
Hello,
I am trying to run xen-3.0 in some of my dell servers. I have tried the
binary distribution of xen, but it doesn''t boot in my test system (a
dell poweredge 750) because a module driver problem (I get an error

So I am trying to compile a custom kernel. So I have downloaded linux

Problem with serial output
Hello,
I''ve got a problem to get a serial output on grub, xen, linux-xen0 and
getty. The serial works fine with grub, xen and linux-xen0, but I''m
unable to start a console, where I''m able to login. I dont''t get any
output. If I change only the getty from ttyS0 to ttyS1 than I''m able to
login..
At the attachment you can see what I see through a serial,

stable / unstable parallel install?
Hi,
Is there some easy way to install both 2.x and unstable xen
tools at the same machine? Seems /usr is hardcoded everythere
in the tools Makefiles, looks like there is no easy way to put
them to different paths (say, prefix /opt/xen2 and /opt/xen3)
:-/
