OpenSSH-2.2.0p1 cores in openssl-0.9.6's bn_print.c
The bug is pretty simple: bn_print.c in openssl-0.9.6's crypto lib says you must use OPENSSL_free on the return value from Bn_bn2dec, yet key.c simply calls free on the buffer. I changed it, but it didn't fix the problem I'm seeing. I don't know if what I'm seeing is a known bug (didn't see it anywhere on the web site). I get a core dump when trying to connect to another

Logging of comments on keys
Hi, during our usual work I found it anoying that one can not easily see who logged in using public key authentication. In newer versions of SSH the fingerprint of the public key gets logged, but who can tell which key belongs to whom from his head? So I wrote a little ad-hoc patch (vs. 3.5.p1) so that the comment field on the keys in the authorized_keys[2] files get logged to make life

[patch] Updated patch for pkcs#11 smartcard readers that have a protected PIN path
Some smartcard readers have keypad to enter the PIN securely (i.e. such that it cannot be intercepted by a rogue (ssh) binary. PKCS#11 allows for enforcing this in hardware. Below patch allows for SSH to make use of this; against head/master as of today. [patch] Threading support in ssh-agent
Hi all! I do not know openssh patch policy so I am just sending the patch to the mailing list. Sorry for inconvenience. Ssh-agent seems to be too slow if you need to access thousands of servers. This is a simple patch to enable threading in ssh2 authentication. Patch adds "-p numthreads" option and defaults to the number of processors. I've tested it as I could, but

problem of "constrOptim.nl", no hessian and convergence values
Dear Helper, I used "constrOptim.nl" and got the value of par. The estimations looks good even if the number of iterations is only 16. But the values of hessian and convergence are both "NULL". I tested the objective function and gradient function by "optim" and didn't see any problem there. With these functions, "optim" gives the convergence value

problem of "constrOptim.nl", no hessian and convergence
Hi, Use the `auglag' function in "alabama" if you want to get the Hessian at convergence. This typically tends to perform better than `constrOptim.nl'. Also, `constrOptim.nl' does not compute the Hessian. You should not specify method="L-BFGS-B". The default method "BFGS" is better in this setting. Hope this helps, Ravi

tsdiag and tsStructure for np,ns,nt and nl determination
Hi R-Helpers, I'm dealing with the STL procedure and trying to apply the tsdiag and StructTS onto the ts object to analyse the different parameters which need to be set. How can I use the tsStructure & tsdiag to create a seasonal, trend and cycle subseries plot so that I can select & analyse the correct np,ns, nt and nl? The problem is that too much signal goes into the seasonal

Interop problem with IPSSH-6.6.0, CR/NL?
I have a curious problem connecting with OpenSSH (5.1p1 on FreeBSD, 6.0-beta on OpenBSD) to some managed switches running "IPSSH-6.6.0". When I connect to the switch with the SSH2 protocol, I can't use the switch's CLI, because I can't terminate a command line. I press <Enter> and nothing happens. Same for ^M (CR) and ^J (NL). When I connect to the switch with SSH1

The simple menu system doesn't reset LF/NL
Hello, I found another problem in the simple menu system with serial console. The menu system doesn't reset LF/NL which was set in console_ansi_row(), because it never calls the destructor, console_clenup(), and so the LF/NL remains until you run "reset" command in sh on Linux. -- HIRANO Takahito hiranotaka%zng.info

Updated Asterisk-NL
I have updated the voice prompts (mostly small fixes, but still work left to be done - however, it's usable now, I'd say) and the patch file (to current CVS) for Asterisk-in-Dutch. As far as I can tell, all of the grammar work is now in - if anyone has feedback to share, please do so before I spend lots of time cleaning up the patches so they can be integrated back.
