Controlling Different Loads using NUT
Hello, I was setting up a TrippLite UPS more specifically the SMART1000RMXL2U model and the way I have it set up is I have a network switch plugged into one load and the PC plugged into another load on this UPS model. Is there any way I can configure the UPS using NUT to have the load containing the PC to delay its boot up by 10 minutes for example to allow the other load to turn on before it?

TrippLite SmartPro UPS and nut-2.0.2
I have a TrippLite SmartPro UP (SMART3000RM2U) that shipped with the DB9 cable# 73-0866. nut doesn't recognize the UPS using the tripplite driver. I found this page: http://www.tripplite.com/support/download/PA12/help/device.htm The link lists the SmartPro series as using the cables 73-0724 or 73-0844 and the Internet 350/525 is listed as using a cable 73-0866. I have a few 73-0844s

after power outage and proper shutdown, UPS turns on before power returns
Hi, I'm struggling with a peculiar issue with my UPS. After a power outage, the devices powered by it properly shut down via nut. Eventually, the UPS also goes down. Power is still out, however, roughly 40 seconds after the UPS shut down, it turns back on and it starts supplying power to the load, thus turning back on the devices attached to it. This is obviously not something I want. In

[LLVMdev] Power Outage at University of Illinois
Dear LLVMers, There was a campus wide power outage today at the University of Illinois. It took down most (if not all) computing services, including the LLVM web/subversion server and the mailing list server. Power has since been restored, and it appears that our IT department has gotten the LLVM web and SVN server operating again (I went in earlier this evening to see if the LLVM server

Power outage and now cannot connect
Hi all, We've just had a power outage and the pc's can now no longer connect to the server. The server had power backup and did not go down which seems strange. Now when I try to connect the error message in smbd.log is smbd/connection.c:yield_connection(62) yield_connection: tdb_delete failed with error Record does not exist. and on the workstation it denies access citing security

"power outage"-save / like embedded systems
I would like to setup a small system based on CentOS6 "power outage"-save as possible. The hardware will be switch off by pulling the plug. To accomplishing this goal, I would mounting some fs parts readonly (e.g. /usr) and thinking about tmpfs for volatile parts (e.g. lock, run under var). Additionally "optimize" some vm.dirty_* kernel- and fs/ext4 parameters.

"Rejecting auth request from client" error after power outage
We had a power failure in our small test lab and the samba server crashed after the UPS shutdown procedure didn't work quite like it was supposed to. Upon reboot, the services started fine but none of our 3 XP test machines were able to login to the Samba PDC. The Samba logs showed the following... _net_auth2: creds_server_check failed. Rejecting auth request from client FLUENT02

Synology NAS is shutting down Ubuntu servers after very brief power outage
Roger, How would you write the SHUTDOWNCMD line with multiple commands?  I’ve been looking at the manual and see that you have to escape the internal “ but am still a little confused on how to do this exactly. -- Todd Benivegna // todd at benivegna.com On Aug 2, 2020, 9:38 AM -0400, Roger Price <roger at rogerprice.org>, wrote: > > upsmon.conf doesn't support reporting battery

Synology NAS is shutting down Ubuntu servers after very brief power outage (fwd)
Thank you!  Sorry for another bonehead question…. Do I replace <myups> with the IP address of the NUT Server/Synology?  I’m assuming I would use this version for use in Dash with Ubuntu, correct? -- Todd Benivegna // todd at benivegna.com On Aug 3, 2020, 5:33 AM -0400, Roger Price <roger at rogerprice.org>, wrote: > On Sun, 2 Aug 2020, Todd Benivegna wrote: > > > How would
