3.0.2: make_bak_dir mkdir ...: File exists (17)
Yesterday I upgraded rsync from 2.6.9 to 3.0.2 (as part of upgrading
Fedora 8 to Fedora 9). Today, I received these unexpected errors:
rsync: make_bak_dir mkdir "/backup/server/../server-before-5/var"
failed: File exists (17)
rsync: keep_backup failed: "/backup/server/var/lib/rpcbind/rpcbind.file"

CentOS 7.1 NFS Client Issues - rpc.statd / rpcbind
That is the thing - rpc.statd does have rpcbind a pre-req. It looks like
systemd is not handling this correctly. Just wondering if anyone knows a
good way to fix.
root at ls2 /usr/lib/systemd/system 110# grep Requires rpc-statd.service
Requires=nss-lookup.target rpcbind.target

CentOS 7.1 NFS Client Issues - rpc.statd / rpcbind
I have seen some talk about this but have not seen any answers. I know
this is a problem on CentOS 7.1 and I also think it is a problem on
CentOS 7.0.
Basically if I have an NFS client only config - meaning that the
nfs-server.service is not enabled then I have to wait 60 seconds after
boot for the 1st NFSV3 mount to succeed.
What I can surmise is the following. I attempt to perform a NFS

Obvious reason for not looping twice?
Is there an obvious reason why this won't loop to i=2 and beyond?
There are many combinations of *st* & *vc* that don't exist in svc. For
example, when s=1 there's only an entry at v=1. That's fine, the entry can
stay 0.
lookup.svc <- array(0,dim=c(length(unique(svc$st)),length(unique(svc$vc))),
dimnames=list(unique(svc$st), unique(svc$vc)))

kernlab:ksvm:eps-svr: bug?
Hi,
A. In a nutshell:
The training error, obtained as "error (ret)", from the return value
of a ksvm () call for a eps-svr model is (likely) being computed
wrongly. "nu-svr" and "eps-bsvr" suffer from this as well.
I am attaching three files: (1) ksvm.R from the the kernlab package,
un-edited, (2) ksvm_eps-svr.txt: (for easier reading) containing only
eps-svr
