Problems with pygrub: ValueError: unable to open file & FC5 - solution
Hello everyone,
I faced mentioned (in subject) problem today. I made some debugging -
and found error ind ext2module.c code (it still exists in 3.0.2). In FC5
one should just unpack Xen, patch file, change directory to tools/pygrub
and reinstall pygrub''s helper library.
It worked for me.
Here the patch follows.

Bug#388352: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64: veth0 is missing
Package: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64
Version: 3.0-unstable+hg11292-2
Severity: important
My server is a dell 2950 server.
Before the dom0 rebooting bug ocurred, xen was well even for hvm domU.
By now i have tried xen-hypervisor-3.0-amd64 (3.0.2+hg9697-2) and
xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64 (3.0-unstable+hg11292-2),
but both of them are unusable for me.

It seems Xen has a similar trademark policy as the much discussed
Mozilla one. Specifically http://www.xensource.com/xen-tm-faq.html
says:

usertags for xen bugs?
Looking through http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=xen I
think it would be useful to add some usertags, in particular to easily
filter for toolstack specific (i.e xend) bugs. I think we can use the
pkg-xen-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org namespace for this -- what do you
think?
Ian.

Bug#490409: xen-3: diff for NMU version 3.2.1-2.1
tags 490409 + patch
thanks
Hi,
The following is the diff for my xen-3 3.2.1-2.1 NMU.
It incorporates three patches from upstream and aims to
fix CVE-2008-2004 aka #490409.
It is not yet tested much, I would appreciate if interested
parties could give it a try.
I'll upload in due course.
Kind regards
T.

I've never seen the use for this. The kernel team tried and it did not
work well. The release team however uses them and like it.

Bug#399700: xen-unstable: bugfix, patch included. now build-deps on linux-support-2.6.22-3
Package: xen-unstable
Version: 3.0-unstable+hg11561-1
Followup-For: Bug #399700
The included patch overcomes the old build dependency on
linux-support-2.6.17-2, and replaces it with linux-support-2.6.22-3. I
filed a previous bug #453912 - but I guess it doesn't apply?

Warning: This may be due to an old implementation of ssh.
When I looked in the list archives I see that there has been a conversation

[PATCH v2 18/27] drm/dp_mst: Remove lies in {up, down}_rep_recv documentation
These are most certainly accessed from far more than the mgr work. In
fact, up_req_recv is -only- ever accessed from outside the mgr work.
