On bootup, it seems CentOS automatically mounts the floppy drive to /media/floppy. Is there a way to stop this from happening, short of removing the floppy drive from the system (as I don't use it)? Background: This is a dual boot (Windows XP and CentOS 5.2 (32 bit) box. There were four (4) NTFS partitions. The C partition got full. I am trying to use data=journal on my root file system. I have separate slices on which journal=data works fine on all of them, except root. I have tried putting rootflags=journal=data on my kernel line in Grub, but I get a kernel panic. I'm missing something simple, I jut know it.
