Traffice Control with Wonder Shaper
Greetings, I am trying to set up Wonder Shaper to work along with Shorewall 2.0.8. I have read through this document here: http://shorewall.net/traffic_shaping.htm and set the necessary options in shorewall.conf, and I coped the contents of the htb file to tcstart and changed things in accordance with the readme. Now from what im seeing, that''s all there is to it and it should work,

I never made any assumption athat anyone had any obligation to do anything
I just asked a question. If I was too vague, then i am sorry. I dont expect anyone to help me, but I thought that it was ok to put the question out there in case someone wanted to help me. I didnt expect abject hostility for it. Human decency was the only thing I did expect. If my question was a pain, badly formatted, or too juvinile, then i have no problem being ignored.I asked a question

New Webmin 1.060 comes with Shorewall module
I just updated my webmin on my server and noticed that the module for Shorewall looked different. It looks like someone really cleaned it up and had it added to the Standard Webmin Module list. Woohoo. -- Joe *** I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day and tomorrow doesn''t look good either. ***

Shorewall 1.3.5
This will be the last Shorewall release for a while as I''m going to be focusing on Documentation. In this release: 1. Empty and invalid source and destination qualifiers are now detected in the rules file. It is a good idea to use the ''shorewall check'' command before you issue a ''shorewall restart'' command be be sure that you don''t

port forward from local net to local machine
Hi! I have a Linux shorewall firewall that is the default gw of the network. I want to redirect all localy originating traffic to port 80 into another machine on port 8002 into the local network. This machine is a WIN2000 machine running a commercial software (proxy, content filtering) that only runs into Windows... :-( I tried something like this but this doesn''t seem to work: local

Samba on Red Hat 7.2
Hi all, I know this isnt really the right place to ask but does anyone know why when I install Red Hat 7.2 and pick Samba to be installed it doesnt seem to be (either that or its not set to auto start and I dont know how to load it). I've even upgraded from 6.1 (Samba confirmed working) and the upgrade also turns Samba or disables/uninstalls it. Anyone got any ideas on this? Thanks Ash

how to use livecd-creator to create my own livecd iso as same as offical release iso?
Hello list, I use the livecd-creator to customize my own livecd iso. I use the kickstart config file from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CentOS/sig-core-livemedia/master/kickstarts/centos-7-livecd.cfg. #livecd-creator -v --config centos-7-livecd.cfg --cache /var/cache/livecd finally I got a iso, but the iso is strange. The offical distribution iso is

ovirt-engine package for oVirt 4.1.x in CentOS offical mirrors disappears?
Hi all, I am trying to install oVirt 4.1.x from centos repos but it seems ovirt-engine doesn't exists. But instead, ovirt-hosted-engine-setup exists? Is ovirt-engine package removed? In the official oVirt repos, exists. Thanks.

What is the most recent offical test suite ?
I just recently became aware of MarkdownTest_1.0.3 (which discount fails, due to the behavior of code blocks changing from "leave whitespace alone except on the first line" to "leave whitespace alone", and the addition of a new kind of magic link that doesn't seem to be documented); is this the most recent version of the test suite, or is there a newer one out there?

Offical RHEL AD DC on RHEL
I was never able to build it in a way I feel comfortable on Fedora. I would want to build it using an RPM build process. I think I want an MIT build but I don't know what all I would need to build either way. I thought it was pretty close when I saw an MIT build in Fedora 23 with AD support. I was hoping it would have existed in Fedora Rawhide, but I still haven't seen it yet. Personally I
