I implemented the picture upload code from the AWDWR-book.(where it saves the picture to blob-field in db). It worked well on my windows-box, but now I exported my code to Linux-box and when the picture is uploaded, it gets cut. Only the upper 30 % of the picture file is saved to db. Hello, I already have a site that allows for uploading and displaying of photos using file_column, and I now want to add video support. I know that I can obviously use file_column to upload and store the reference, but does anyone know of a way to take a sample of the video on a particular frame so that I can store that as the thumbnail view?
