Picture upload - picture gets chopped
I implemented the picture upload code from the AWDWR-book.(where it
saves the picture to blob-field in db).
It worked well on my windows-box, but now I exported my code to
Linux-box and when the picture is uploaded, it gets cut. Only the upper
30 % of the picture file is saved to db.
Any ideas how to fix this?
By the way, the windows-version of the MySQL Query Browser was able to

Uploading Videos & Storing Picture
Hello,
I already have a site that allows for uploading and displaying of photos
using file_column, and I now want to add video support. I know that I can
obviously use file_column to upload and store the reference, but does
anyone know of a way to take a sample of the video on a particular frame
so that I can store that as the thumbnail view?
Thanks for the help,
Frank

actionmailer & picture
Hello
I''m using action mailer to create an HMTL outbound email. This email
renders a partial. In that partial, a call is made to a public location
to get a picture for display in the email.
When this email is generate, I get the following error (note: I''m sure
it has something to do with not understanding the context of
actionmailer and how it functions):

how to draw a 4d picture with density estimation?
I have 3 row data in the format as x,y,time
I want to draw it as a 3d picture;x as x axis, y as y axis, the xy's
density as z axis, the corresponding time as color.
I have read the manual of R and failed, Since kde2d and bkde2d give
grid data, this grid data cannot match its original time.
Could anyone do me a favor?
thanks.

Cannot save histogram picture when run from script
Hi,
I am faced with a strange problem. My picture file is empty when the
following statements were run from R script. But the picture file shows up
correctly, when the commands are individually run from Rgui.
png(file="histogram_correlation.png", bg = "white")
require(stats)
histogram( ~ height | voice.part, data = singer, nint = 17,
endpoints = c(59.5, 76.5),

Ok, I give up. After the last month or so, gwenview takes literally five
minutes or so to come up, gagging because I have nepomuk turned off in
kde. Today, it just will not come up at all, even trying gwenview pic.jpg.
Are there any other ->light weight<- image viewers in the standard
repositories, including epel? I DO NOT WANT OR NEED a "semantic desktop"
