Having been accomodating about it in the past, the technical geniuses at Comcast have permanently blocked port 25, separating me (at my home office) from my employer's e-mail server. What can be done on the server side to keep Postfix listening on 25 _and_ accept my connections on some other port? Is there a Postfix solution? iptables maybe? Miark

Hi, I have a samba server joined to a Win 2000 domain. It all works fine except that for some reason if a Win2KPro client has a file/folder open overnight (or for a long time), then they are disconnected. The only docs I found on getting SWAT to run, showed editing the inetd.conf file. As this version of RH (7.3) only uses xinetd things don't fit exactly. I have gone through and did everything that one should do for inetd and it still will not work. I don't normally use the thing, but this client will need the more simplistic interface to add shares, etc.
