Hola.
We have a wireless network that uses 802.1x authentication, in which domain joined computers use their machine credentials to connect. Windows machines do this automatically, and until recently Linux computers could join using wicd, wpa-supplicant, and a simple script that would retrieve the machine password with tdbdump. ( specifically tdbdump -k SECRETS/MACHINE_PASSWORD/DOMAIN

[PATCH nbdkit 9/9] tests/old-plugins: Add plugin from nbdkit 1.18.2.
This is significant because it's a plugin which was from the last stable release containing undefined symbols (in the internal plugins). $ ldd -r tests/old-plugins/x86_64/Linux/v1.18.2/nbdkit-file-plugin.so linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffe86cdd000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00007f551b3e5000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f551b21b000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

Windows XP cannot join Samba 4AD but win 7 can.
Hello everybody, I've got some troubles making Win XP join may samba4 AD, and, well, i'm kind of stuck ! I use the binary distribution of Samba 4 for Ubuntu Trusty Server (4.1.6), with bind9 DLZ as a DNS backend. Everything works fine with Win7 workstations, but I get a message "Internal Error" on Win XP workstation during the domain join. The machine account is created on

Hydrology plots in R
Hello, I am trying to create a plot often seen in hydrodynamic work than includes a contour plot representing the water speed with arrows pointing in the direction of flow. Does anyone have any idea how I might add arrows based on wf$angle (in the example below) to the plot below? Thanks in advance! Sam library(lattice) speed <- runif(100, 0, 20) wf <- data.frame(speed) wf$width <-

Finding center of mass in a hydrologic time series
Hi Eric, the following works for me. HTH, Eric library(EGRET) StartDate <- "1990-10-01" EndDate <- "2017-09-30" siteNumber <- "10310000" QParameterCd <- "00060" Daily <- readNWISDaily(siteNumber, QParameterCd, StartDate, EndDate) # Define 'center of mass' function com <- function(x) { match(TRUE, cumsum(x/sum(x)) > 0.5) -

Finding center of mass in a hydrologic time series
The small bit of script below is an example of what I'm attempting to do - find the day on which the 'center of mass' occurs. In case that is the wrong term, I'd like to know the day that essentially cuts the area under the curve in to two equal parts: set.seed(4004) Date <- seq(as.Date('2000-09-01'), as.Date('2000-09-30'), by='day') hyd <-

Finding center of mass in a hydrologic time series
Eric B's response provided just the kind of quick & simple solution I was hoping for (appears as the function com below). However, I once again failed to take advantage of the power of R and have reverted back to using a for loop for the next step of the processing. The example below (which requires the library EGRET for pulling an example dataset) works, but probably can be replaced

[PATCH nbdkit 0/9] Create libnbdkit.so
This creates libnbdkit.so as discussed in the following thread: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2020-March/thread.html#00203 test-delay-shutdown.sh fails for unclear reasons. This series starts by reverting "tests: Don't strand hung nbdkit processes" which is because several other tests fail randomly unless I revert this patch. I didn't investigate this yet so it
