Password mismatch after upgrade to Ubuntu Focal
Hi! Today I upgraded one of our Dovecot servers from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 20.04. After the upgrade I have login issues because the password didn't match. I also installed Dovecot on a clean Ubuntu 20.04 server with the same configuration files. And here I also got the password match issue. We're using LDAP for managing the login credentials and I'm 100% sure the password is

Are there any plans to implement it at some point?

Debian Buster Samba 4.13 online (amd64/i386/armhf )
Hai, ? Debian Buster Samba 4.13 is now online on my repo. Info : https://apt.van-belle.nl/ With the release of 4.13 the following changes are going to happen in the repo's. Current (recently sended?list) OS-sambaXXXX with EOL wont be supported anymore, upgrade your OS and/or Samba versions! EOL repo's will stay online for about 6 months, that gives sufficient time to upgrade.

CRAN R 4.0.0 for Ubuntu repos missing r-recommend dependency
I noticed that R 4.0.0 is now available for ubuntu on CRAN. I attempted to do a clean install on 18.04 using: sudo apt install r-base after adding deb https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu bionic-cran40/ to /etc/apt/sources.list. Unfortunately, apt reports that r-recommend is a dependency and it won't be installed. Upon inspecting the R4.0 repos r-recommend is missing not only for

Its always :? http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian? And all you change is :??? buster-samba412? Current available versions are : stretch-samba410 stretch-samba411 buster-samba411 buster-samba412

Samba broken after dist-upgrade in Ubuntu 20.04?
Hello, I installed updates today on my Ubuntu 20.04 and after that, Samba was disabled/masked/not installed at all. Even attempting to install samba again reports: Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of

TimeZone Help - Finding TimeZone codes
I have looked at ?as.POSIXct ?POSIXct and many of the references that are on those pages. I am bewildered with timezones. Is there a way to get what would go into tz="" for making a function that uses POSIXct to be able to be used in all of the timezones in just the united states? This is for both windows and mac... this is the function that I am wanting to use it with

timezone attribute lost
Hi, As I didn't get any response on the general help list and I don't know if there is a bug in action I am trying my luck here. I was highly surprised to find out that during simple operations (see code below) the timezone attribute for POSIXct data is lost and then, upon the next interpretation, the system settings are used (which are plain wrong in my case). I have used R 2.8.0

TimeZone, TZInfo, daylight savings, and composed_of
Does anyone know the best way to track time zone information. There doesn''t seem to be much documentation on this. So far it seems like a simple db field like create table accounts ( id int unsigned not null auto_increment, name varchar(50) not null, time_zone varchar(50) not null, ... primary key (id) ) and a class like class Account < AR ...

patch for axis.POSIXct (related to timezones)
I am finding that axis.POSIXct uses the local timezone for deciding where to put tic marks, even if the data being plotted are in another time zone. The solution is to use attr() to copy from the 'x' (provided as an argument) to the 'z' (used for the 'at' locations). I have pasted my proposed solution in section 1 below (as a diff). Then, in section 2, I'll put some
