Questions re PXELINUX

I have a couple of questions re PXELINUX:
1. I am experiencing problems with the LOCALBOOT statement on an IBM x3650. IBM mentions the following:

I am using PXELINUX 4.04. Is this problem still attributed to some bug in PXELINUX? Right now I

Can't replace a faulty disk of raid1
Hello,
I had a raid1 btrfs (540GB) on vanilla 3.6.3, a disk failed, and removed it at
power off, plugged in a new one, partitioned it (to 110GB, by error), and added
it to btrfs.
I tried to remove the missing device, and it said "Input/output error" after a
while. Next attempts simply gave "Invalid argument".
I repartitioned, rebooted the system, and made the partition grow:

User names longer than 8 characters
Hello.
I set up my samba server and added two users, "alvarezp" and "lunablack".
The first one works, but the second one gives Access Denied errors.
I already tried to map "lunablack" to "luna" via 'username map', with no
luck.
Both passwords are under or equal 8 chars long.
Here is some info:

State of nocow file attribute
Hello,
some time ago we discussed on #btrfs that the nocow attribute for files wasn''t
working (around 3.3 or 3.4 kernels). That was evident by files fragmenting even
with the attribute set.
Chris mentioned to find a fix quickly for that, and posted some lines of change
into irc. But recently someone mentioned that 3.6-rc looks like still not
respecting nocow for files.
Is there really

Searching for packages for normalizing Metabolomic data
Hi everybody,
I am a beginner in the steps of pre-processing and data analysis of non-targeted metabolomic profiling experiments.
Anyone knows if there exists some tool for normalizing this type of data (raw data or XCMS matrix data)
in R repositories? Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Núria

error loading operating system
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem. When installing from floppy, it appears that everything installs correctly to hda1. I can see all the files that get installed on hda1 when mounting it. However, after I change the boot options to boot from hard disk I get the above error. I have never had this problem before, it usually installs very fast and painless. The only difference this

deprecated ALERT_INFO var andAMI's Originate command
Since 1.4 ALERT_INFO variable has been deprecated. I used to send this
via AMI:
Action: Originate
Channel: Sip/1234
Application: AgentLogin
Data: 1234
Variable: _ALERT_INFO=info=alert-autoanswer
Callerid: AutoLogin[1234]
In order to send an autologin and autoanswer call to the agent 1234 on an
Aastra phone at extension 1234. (just for example).
Now in * 1.4 with ALERT_INFO deprecated I

queues
Is there anyway to setup a queue with only one agent (device) which is
always logged in. So when a call hits that queue the device will ring (if
not already on a call) or will be put in the queue if the call is already in
place?
Thanks
Miles

bug in R CMD INSTALL do_install under OS X
Hi, I believe I've encountered a bug in the do_install function in the
script used by R CMD INSTALL. I'm using R 2.8.0 under OS X 10.5.5. I was
trying to install a package from source (the package gaga which I maintain,
which I checked and builds correctly for R 2.8.0) when I get the error

Asterisk 11 and stdexten written in AEL invoked by pbx_config
Almost two years ago, a change between how AEL code is built into
Asterisk dialplan between minor versions made clear the need to
provide a sane entry point into AEL subroutines and that's how
AELSub() born.
With Asterisk 11 release, they way [stdexten] at extensions.conf is
invoked changed from Macro to Gosub using the 'missing context
feature' and this caused that any stdexten

I'm trying to make a ices/icecast streaming radio with encoding from
soundcard. I did a lot of googling and couldn't find any docs other then
icecast/ices docs, that are included in the source packages. Are there
any other docs that i should read? Is there a howto outthere somewhere?
