windows data editor changes dimensions displayed data frames
dear R-tists, i am experiencing a problem with the data editor in the windows version of R 1.6.1 envoked with the command 'fix'. the data editor changes the size of large data frames. a simple example illustrates this: ------------------------------------------------------- > dfrm <- data.frame(no=c(1:100000)) > length(dfrm[,1]) [1] 100000 > fix(dfrm) >

I can confirm this in the current R-patched. I'll take a look. It might be that

On demand relay from shoutcast ....
Hello ., maybe this could be again a stupid question... But I've tried over serval weeks to get a on demand relay stream from A southcast server. I have defined a mountpoint via an alias directive at the icecast.conf file. At the logfile a would recognize the two lines.. -->On demand realy for [.] -> [.] failed, damn! -->Kicking unknown 0 [.] [No encoder], connected for xx

I added <on-demand>1</on-demand> to one of my relays on a 2.1.0 server but it didn't work. I have a server I'm planning to set up if this functionality becomes active. Steve P.

On-Demand Relay
Is on-demand relay currently active in the 2.2.0 release and if it is how long before there is no one listening will the relay disconnect from the main server. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Weather @ 12:55am - Temp: -2.0 ?C - Humidity 64 % - Wind: NW @ 4 km/h Baro: 1031 kPa Steady - Vis: 24 km - Sky: Clear - Weather: --- =-=-=-= Website:

0 listeners is fine. on-demand stream relay
I have been searching through various archives, looking for the best way to set up a stream so that the stream is only sent to the server when there are listeners. It appears that to do this, I would need to have a local icecast server on the machine where the stream originates, and use the on-demand relaying to do the connection. This seems like it will work, but has a few problems in

template choice error (layout.rb)
Hey, I installed the rjs plugin yesterday and started using it for one set of views. Today I notice that in an entirely separate controller/template I''m seeing this error: TypeError (can''t dup NilClass): /vendor/plugins/javascript_generator_templates/lib/add_rjs_to_action_controller.rb:41:in `dup''

Problem? On-demand relay & max listeners redirect
I think this might be a problem: Say I have a master stream called /aac with 20 max listeners I also have a on-demand relay with (master-redirect) enabled. Now the plan is, when the master stream is full it would redirect to the slave stream (a 302), but the slave stream cannot connect to the master as its currently full. So somehow the icecast server has to allow the relay stream to connect

On demand relay in icecast 2?
I'm using this on icecat 1.3.12 but it doesn't seem to work with icecast 2.0.0. The relay starts as soon as icecast is started and does not drop, even if there are no clients. I've been over and over the docs and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. vb _________________________________________________________________ Plan your next US getaway to one of the super

CentOS 5.5 php configure errors
I am attempting to install odbtp on my newly created lamp server running CentOS 5.5 and php 5.2.17. The odbtp compile failed looking for lots of zend related files supposedly in the php install dir. I learned from the odbtp project forum that I need to run configure in the php source directory. So I downloaded the php 5.2.17 source and ran ./configure and got these results: root at myserver

relay & fallback timeout issue
i have two icecast servers on the same host (logging to the same file) one is a public server that people connect to one is a backend switcher to switch what they listen to and handle fallbacks. when a source or relay times out, the public server disconnects at the same time that the backend server switches to the fallback. what is the best way to deal w/ this? increase the source timeout on the
